Organized, Rebuilt and Recorded.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

After waking only twice through the night we managed to sleep until nearly 8:30 this morning. While having breakfast we discussed what we planned to do so after finishing only a single Coffee/Tea while at the Computers we got busy.
Frost on the Vehicles and Roof Tops.
Kathy was going through things in our Apartment Storage Room and organizing them by using all the smaller Storage Containers and Baskets that we purchased yesterday. This was something she wanted to do so we could find things much easier when we need them. This would take up most of the day to accomplish.
My first chore was to replace the Lighting Fixture in the Bathroom but as soon as I removed the cover from the old one I knew there would be a problem. The apartment was painted just before we moved in and they painted around the Light Fixtures. The cover of the Old Fixture was larger then the New Fixture we bought yesterday and we didn’t have Paint of that colour.

That meant going to “Plan B” which was rebuilding the existing Fixture. One Bulb would not work because it was breaking off its base. Another Bulb would not light because a Wire was not connected and the Third Bulb was tipping in the Cover because it became dismounted in the Base. It took only a Half Hour but now the Old Fixture with new LED Bulbs will light the Bathroom for many more years. I’ll simply return the New Fixture for a Refund.
For lunch we had Vegetable Soup with Cheese Sticks then we shared an Apple for dessert along with few Cookies.

While Kathy returned to organizing the Storage Room I managed to mount Five more of the Magnetic Door Latches on the Kitchen Counter Doors.

Kathy took a short break and we talked while I started getting caught up on our Expenditure Spreadsheet. There was lots of receipts to go through for the last couple of months but I even found One from way back in May that had to get entered.

It was after 5:00 when I finished those Data Entries and Kathy finished Organizing the Storage Room.

For supper we had Beans on Toast as a way of eating according to our Activity Levels.

We watched the Local 6 o’clock News then managed to watch a couple of Hallmark Christmas Movies.

When I went to upload the few Pictures we had taken today my Computer just would not do it so hopefully the problem I’ll fix it by tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Well that was an easy cheaper solution. Good job!! Hmmm ... magnetic cabinet door latches. That sounds like something I could use and install myself. Thanks for the tip.

  3. We actually had Hallmark Christmas Movies on this past weekend. The RV Park had cable. It was fun watching them had not watched them in probably four years.

Sounds like you two are well on your way to getting the entire apartment just the way you want it.
