Getting Better Organized and “The Christmas Shepherd”.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Getting up before the Sun can be fun at times especially when you can get wonderful pictures while you are at it. It also made one be thankful to be inside when you could see Frost on the Roofs of all the nearby Houses and Vehicles.
When Kathy joined me for breakfast she said that her Hands were very sore from all the Grout Cleaning she did yesterday. By scrubbing the Grout she aggravated the Arthritis in her Hands but as most Physio-Therapist would say that is how you fight Arthritis.
We discussed the need to better organize the Storage Room. Being smaller then the one in our last apartment means having to downsize the Containers we use to store things. We also discussed changing the Lighting Fixture in the Bathroom. Another list was made telling us what we needed to find.
Our lunch was Grilled Cheese Sandwiches garnished with Olives then finished off with a couple of Cookies and Blueberry Yogurt Cups for dessert.
We stopped at Dollarama where we found a few Baskets and Containers that will help us along. We then headed over to Walmart where we found more Containers that will help complete the job.

Leaving there we stopped at Lowe’s looking for the Light Fixture but didn’t plan on breaking the bank on what they wanted to charge. We drove to Canadian Tire where we found the perfect Fixture to do what we wanted “On Sale”.

Even though it was barely 4:00 we stopped at Harvey’s where using a Coupon we were able to save money on our supper.

The Sun had slid behind a wall of Clouds by the time we got back to the Apartment. By the time everything was brought upstairs neither of us felt like starting anything tonight.

After watching the Local 6 o’clock News we watched the family movie “The Christmas Shepherd”. Even though we have already celebrated with our Family it was a pleasant distraction from the Computers.

With tomorrow being the start of a new week we’ll see what we can get into. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  2. You have such a lovely view from up high in your apartment. How does it look in the evening with all the city lights?

It is much too cold in Canada I do not think I could go out at all if I lived there.

  3. It makes me laugh every time when you go to Canadian Tire that sells light fixtures, and it seems everything but tires. Brrrrr that's chilly!!!

  4. You guys are really making this apartment nice with all the improvements you are making. The picture Kathy had picked out and you showed on yesterday's blog posting seems to be liked by all. I would guess the landscape is in Chile, South America, as I have very similar pictures I took there when we were there with our boat.
