Wrapping, Walking, Shopping, and Coaching.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Last night we got the chance to do something we haven’t done in a while sleep with the windows slightly open. It helped us to relax into a deep sleep and it also helped us to keep the covers on overnight. When we finally woke up this morning it felt like we’d been drugged but in a sense it was true that we’d overdosed on the Oxygen that our bodies so badly need.
Daffodils are starting to bloom.
After enjoying our breakfast and finishing our reading at the computers Kathy had to reference her computer as to who certain purchases we’d made while away were going to. Once she was armed with that bit of information she set herself up on the dining room table. Her goal was to start wrapping some of the Cxxxxxxxs gifts that we had been lucky enough to buy while we were away this winter. Considering the number of people we are buying gifts for yearly she needs to start early in order to find just the right ones. Myself I managed to make a few modifications to some of our equipment to the trailer and then I got things ready for us to have lunch.
We actually got a selfy just as we were leaving for our walk.
Kathy was feeling pretty good after the walk we did yesterday when Sanford took us around the block. She thought that it would be a good idea to make a daily habit of going for some kind of daily walk in our attempt at losing some weight. Once we finished eating our lite lunch we set our sights on walking over to our daughter Karen’s house which is about a mile away. We didn’t really push ourselves but we were there in twenty minutes.
Heading East on Tecumseh Road.
Our grandson Tyler had just finished cutting the grass in the backyard and was now working on a homework assignment but the printer didn’t want to work. Karen had been struggling to do some laundry but she’s still in a lot of pain from the accident she was in last year. Our granddaughter Kylla and her boyfriend Noah were just about to leave when we arrived. They were going out to celebrate the end of their final exams for this school year. Greg had to go to work today to make up for not being there yesterday. After visiting for nearly an hour and hearing about their trip yesterday we headed back to the apartment with a planned visit for Tyler to come over to print his assignment at our apartment around supper time.

We were only home a short while when we headed over to Home Depot. We had a number of things we needed to find and got lucky on everything but one that is only sold in the US. We then drove across the street to the Dollar Store where we picked up supplies for Kathy’s wrapping and a couple of replacement items for the trailer.
These blossoms look like Magnolias
but they don't grow this far north.
Just after getting back in the apartment the phone rang and Tyler was asking if he could come over then instead of later. Since we’d planned on having just a hamburger and salad for supper Kathy asked him if he wanted to come over for a burger. What teenage boy would turn down that kind of an offer?

I had the burgers on the Weber by the time he arrived. We enjoyed learning about what he is doing in school now and what he’ll be doing when he starts high school in the fall. Tyler was barely finished eating his supper when Kathy presented him some dessert. It was hard to believe that he couldn’t finish it all.
Tulips finally starting to bloom.
He had E-mailed his assignment to himself so it was a matter of simply opening them and printing it out. He seemed to be having difficulty with the sizing that he had to accomplish so because of all the photo shop work that I have done I was able to coach him on how to correct the sizing. The end result was a work of art that should earn him a good grade. He called us as instructed when he got home.
Kathy liked the sparkle of this rock.
Tomorrow we’ll be back at getting things ready for our next adventure starting this month. Hey living life is an adventure. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. There is so much I could learn about the computer. Before I retired I got by pretty good but things keep advancing and now Kris has to keep me up on everything.
