Restless Nights Again!

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Neither Kathy or I can figure it out. Both Saturday and Sunday nights we just kept awake on and off tossing and turning all night long. Needless to say we couldn't keep our eye's open last night but after falling asleep early then on again, off again sleeplessness returned and surely is not helping us rest much. Even at this moment I'm struggling to focus on the screen and to muster a clear train of thought.
It was bad enough that the Flu bug we had was trying to compete with the Everready Bunny and just kept going and going and going. Of course our broken heater didn't help that out. We decided to venture out today to use one of our gift certificates we received at Christmas and had supper out this evening nothing special just a nice big salad with chicken but it was yummy.  It kind of helps to discourage the winter blahs!
Which I am sure all of us snowbirds at one time or another get.  Gotta love our kids for making sure we have a very treasured supply of dinner out gift certificates.  We just love those!

San Antonio Riverwalk

Many of our Snowbird bloggers are struggling with the cold weather down South. We have been seeing weather well below the freezing mark here as well but today all our snow melted. Tomorrow and next Sunday we'll be teased by 46 degree temps and next Monday will register at 52 degrees here in Southern Ontario. That almost sounds like an early start to Spring which is now only 64 days away. Enjoy!

It's about time.

  1. Just a thought...if you have been sick and taking decongestants, some off those might cause sleeplessness. Hope you are feeling better now.

  2. Yep, sure remember those winter blahs alright. Not a good thing at all. We are at a lower altitude now so soaked up some warm sunshine today in our shirt sleeves.....
