Slow Motion Day.

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Strange as it is both Kathy and I have been having one heck of a time getting rid of all the symptoms of this Flu. All the body aches and pains seem to be gone but the sinus and breathing problems seem to be lingering. It has been a source of uncontrollable coughing that has robbed us of sleep and energy.

After breakfast I walked across the street to the Post Office to mail back the old cable-tv controller. When I got back I started shredding some of our old files as Kathy did her yearly cleaning of the file cabinet. We do this to prevent any form of Identity Theft. As time passes there should be less of this to do as a lot of these files are from the house we just sold. The utilities bills, renovation receipts and all the other bills for upkeep & expenses.
Texas Campground our 2008 trip.
When I finally turned on the computer and started reading some of the blogs. I noticed that some of the other posters  are still at home this winter were wishing they were on the road. Karen in the Woods and Steve of Small House Big Backyard are one of those couples. They were exercizing their MoHo and made a day trip out of it. On the way back home Steve was having a hard time choosing whether to take the road home or just keep it rolling southbound. Kathy and I had the same feelings when we visited our trailer yesterday.
Crossing New Mexico
We can start prepping to scratch that itch soon because it is only 71 more days to spring.

Yes, it sure was hard to park it back in the yard. Sigh.

My mom has that same sickness for over a week now, although she is feeling better, the cough just don't go away!

  3. We have several friends too that for one reason or another couldn't get on the road this year. Tough times are everywhere.

Those rocks between NM and AZ are sure familiar.
