It's Here.

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Don't know why but I seemed to toss and turn most of the night last night. We also know that if you sleep that way your partner in that bed is pretty well guaranteed to sleep just as well. Didn't matter if I got up for abit and then laid back down I'd fall asleep then wake right up over and over all night. So I sat in the living room at 7 a.m. hoping not to wake Kathy who missed me in bed and was up by 8 a.m.

Since our friend Ross is up at Godrich again Kathy and I had made plans to pick up his wife Kathie and go out for lunch. We chose the Pizza Hut buffet and enjoyed the variety of different pizzas, pastas and salads they had to offer. Kathie welcomed the change of pace with nothing more then housework and errands to do during the day which makes the days long and lonely. Afterwards we swung by the storage yard to give her a quick look at our trailer which she referred to as like driving a semi. From there we brought her over to our place to show her around. She was impressed at the downsizing we had done from our home, but also noted that it was roomy and comfortable. It was a fun afternoon that ended too quickly when we dropped Kathie off at her apartment at 3 p.m. because she takes care of her grandson Liam after school until his mom gets home from work.

One thing that was noted this morning was the snow we were supposed to get last night never materialized. All day long there were little snow swirls on the pavement but not even enough to stick to your shoes. Well tonight since supper the parking lot and all the vehicles in it are now white. How much we will end up with is unknown but it sure makes the news of Spring arriving in 67 days sound even more inviting. Enjoy!

It's about time.

  2. Snow is being predicted here is Oregon over the weekend. Not looking forward to that - although I used to love it. Stay warm and dry.

  3. Well, in an RV if you do toss and turn, there's no way to have separate bedrooms unless one of you does sleep on the couch. It's a big part of downsizing.
