Back To The Beginning.

Just when I thought that my sleep issues were a thing of the past, they seem to be coming back to haunt me. It seems that I am back to starting my night in the Recliner, going to Bed for only a short while, then finishing my night back in my Recliner. When I am not sleeping in Bed next to Kathy, she doesn't have a good night's sleep. Today I woke to Kathy coming out to join me at 7:30 this morning which was earlier than we had been getting up as of late.

It may not sound healthy but keeping our breakfast intake to Cookies and a Yogurt Cup, does keep our Calorie Intake low.

As soon as we were on our Computers the first thing I did was to check The Weather Network Radar. Kathy was surprised how I could manipulate its movement one Hour at time. She was at first doubtful when I mentioned that it would be raining around 10:00 but it was right on the money. Also like I had said, the Sun was breaking through the Clouds by 12:00.

As mentioned in yesterday's Blog, Karen and Greg had been cooking up a storm, making Meals to bring to work rather than eating out. When they were finished, they realized they had made too much and brought it to us to enjoy. We appreciated the gesture. Last night, we sampled some of the Chicken Dumplings. Today, we enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie for our lunch. It held us over for a late supper this evening. We shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza with extra Mozzarella Cheese.

Later this evening, we watched a couple episodes of "Forensic Files" before trying to watch the "11 o'clock Local News". Unfortunately, it was pre-empted by a "Monday Night Football" game that was running late.

So far, it appears the weather might cooperate for our morning visit.

Ups and Downs.

Another night of ups and downs. I did spend some time in Bed last night, but only 2:32, meaning the other 6:36 were spent in my Recliner. I just could not sleep in Bed and the longer that I'm out of Bed, the less rested Kathy is.

I was checking the Weather Radar when Kathy came out to join me. We started our breakfast snack with Breakfast Juice so we could take our medications, along with a Yogurt Cup and Cookies. Just the sugar rush we need to start the day.

I had to check The Weather Network Radar for the coming week. It is unbelievable how the larger Storms can change from day to day.

As a way of cleaning the Fridge, we shared a Bacon/Veggie Omelette for lunch. It was so filling that we didn't need any dessert or afternoon snack.

We had been busy enough on our Computers, that it wasn't until we looked out the Balcony Door, that we saw the forecasted Rain had come and gone, leaving large puddles in all the parking lots. Though more was forecasted it did not materialize, but there is lots of time overnight.

I was in the process of cooking the last of the Perogies when we got a call from our daughter Karen, saying they were bringing us something. We ate the Perogies and went downstairs to wait for them. They were delayed so we got to see things and talk to some of the other tenants, that we don't normally do.

When they arrived, Karen and Greg had been cooking up a storm (no rain included) and they had extras to pass along to us. We spoke for a bit before they left. We do appreciate the thoughtfulness.

Back in the Apartment we could smell of the Homemade Chicken Dumplings. We only had a few Perogies each earlier, so we sampled half those Dumplings to top us off. There's more for tomorrow.

Later for entertainment, we watched "Spiderman". Even though he catches the bad guys, it's funny how he gets bounced around before saving the day.

We'll try something different tomorrow.

Noticeable Differences.

Again, I slept between the Recliner and Bed. It wasn't the best sleep I have had lately but it was sleep. The Pain in my shoulders, kept me tossing in Bed, which did affect the quality of Kathy's sleep. If you caught it, that wasn't spelling mistake, it was plural. I have been dealing with Neck Issues, before having the Hip Replacement and while recovering from that, I fell injuring my Right Shoulder. Now the only comfortable position I had was laying on my Left Shoulder, but it is starting to bother me after only an Hour, causing the tossing and turning. Starting the night in my Recliner takes away the Pain, but I don't feel rested, and Kathy doesn't sleep well unless we are in Bed together. There has got to be a better way.

I was checking the Weather Radar when Kathy came out to join me. With a Planned visit for this coming week, the Weather could dramatically affect it.

It was another Yogurt Cup and Cookies for a breakfast snack, though we finished our Coffees at the Computers, we were out the door by 10:00.

With cooler temperatures and a Northeasterly Breeze, Kathy wished she had worn her Jacket.

Our first stop was Health First Pharmacy to get a Prescription filled for Kathy. The Prscription is a Single Pill to be taken before an upcoming MRI, to ease her feeling of Claustrophobia. It was a short wait, but it was filled without question.

Next we headed to Guardian Storage, to collect our Mail. The Box was half full and with other customers there, I didn't ask about the wood being tossed under our Trailer. If they do find out who did it, they will be tossed out of the Storage Yard.

The price of Gasoline had risen over the last month, but this week it dropped 12.3 cents per Litre (.465 cents per US Gallon). It was a good day to fill up at Pioneer gas station.

With a few more errands to run, we stopped at Wendy's for lunch first. We had Coupons to help keep our costs down. They were for the Baconators and we had never had one before. We were both stuffed when we finished, but according to the Menu Board, we saved nearly Ten Dollars by using those Coupons.

We needed to get a few things, so we stopped at Dollarama before going to the Zehr's grocery store. By doing that today, stopped our need for high cost days. I did notice at the grocery store, that the cost of things we normally buy during the week, appeared to be priced higher on the weekend.

Back at our building, someone had a Mini-Van backed up against the rear entrance, with a long Sofa jammed inside. Luckily, we were using our Folding Two Wheeled Shopping Cart to haul everything upstairs. Once everthing was put away we both needed to sit for a few minutes. The problem with that, was when my eyes closed on me for nearly Thirty Minutes.

Since we were very hungry after lunch, it was past 7:00 when we had Macaroni and Cheese for our supper.

Without any Local News on the weekends, we watched a few episodes of "9-1-1, Emergency".
