Feeling Jealous.

 Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It felt good to get extra sleep this morning, though it did require forcing myself to stay in bed past 7:00. With the Sun not rising for another Hour, I started catching up on my Blog reading. Sensing my absence Kathy also beat the Sun, by coming out to join me by 7:45. Breakfast was simply a Pastry and a Coffee at the Computers.

The Sun made certain to light up the entire Apartment, even with the Blinds still closed. The Weather Network showed it would be a comfortable day, even as the Clouds would later fill the sky.

It was close to 2:00 when we shared a Veggie Omelette for lunch. It was more than filling.

Before going back to the Computer, I cleaned up a Fresh Pineapple that will be used in many a dessert, this coming week.

You might recall my mentioning our Good Friend Gerry has been on the Surgical Wait List, for a Hip Replacement for over Two Years. He was given this past Thursday as a surgery date, but was told it could be cancelled. When I finished the Pineapple I made a call Sandy to see how Gerry was doing. Instead Gerry answered because Sandy was driving him home from the Hospital. The Surgery went well but he reacted to the Medications. Now he has to behave himself, so his New Hip will heal. Though I’m feeling jealous, we are wishing him the best and will be stopping in to visit.

After watching the 6 o’clock Local News, we still did not feel very hungry because of our lunch. We solved that by having another Pastry and Coffee at the Computers for our supper.

We’ll enjoy the day running some errands together tomorrow and we’re still counting down the days.
