More Training and Colder Temperatures.

Before we got too involved in extra cleaning at the PTA, Sorough and I were called to fill a Centering Hole on a Feedscrew about to be shipped to the Customer. With this being different then welding Flights, I took the lead to start the process, explaining as the first pass was made. Then a shocked Sorough took over, when I told him to finish the job. I didn’t just leave him out to dry but observed and coached from over his shoulder. He appreciated the guiding voice and in very little time at all he was finished.

We returned to the PTA, where we set up a Small Parts Organizer, to stop the loss of critical parts for the Torch. It was nearly noon when we received the first Feedscrew needing welding on the Plasma Transfer Arc. Since it was a Left-Handed Metric Unit, we conducted a Test using the Pencil as visible guide. It followed it perfectly.

We ran the Burners on a lower setting during lunch break. On our return it was only minutes later the “Begin to Weld” button was pushed. Other than having to move the Burners as the process moved along, everything ran flawlessly, and the Screw was put in the Sandbox for the night.

Kathy stayed home today, but managed to talk with our daughter Karen and dear friend Vera who sounded like she had what we are just getting over.

It was cold when I came home and according to the 6 o’clock Local News we will be having below normal temperatures starting this weekend.

We shared a modified Store-Bought Thin-Crust Hawaiian Pizza for supper. We added extra Pineapple and Mozzarella Cheese.

I continued to try to resolve the Sign-In issues surrounding Google and Blogger this evening, but no matter what I would normally do, fails to do that simple task.
