Christmas Calories Don’t Count.

Even though we started off the morning well rested, we both had trouble with our eyes focusing on the Computer screens while they were closed.

I finally had the chance to correspond with our Good Friends Wayne and Sue who we met in and are presently in Quartzsite. We truly hope that we will be able to meet up with them next winter. We can only hope that our Health Issues can be taken care of before then.

We knew that we would be surrounded by lots of Food later, so a Cookie and Yogurt was our breakfast, while lunch was Cheese on Crackers for Kathy and I ate the Sandwich that she had made for my Friday lunch.

As mentioned in last night’s Blog, we were heading to our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa’s to have a Family Christmas Celebration in Amherstburg. Since everyone contributes to these Family Celebrations there is always more food than everyone can eat. It’s a good thing I wore my “Christmas Calories Don’t Count” T-Shirt, otherwise I might have felt guilty. Still everyone was required to take home Leftovers of their choosing, so the host is not stuck with the same old, same old for the next Six Months.

Besides eating and visiting, watching Christmas Vacation, our daughter Karen tries to make it fun for everyone. Besides playing Two Rounds of “Left, Right, Center”, she created a game where everyone walked away with a Mystery Gift. It was past 9:00 when the party started to break up, because some people have to work tomorrow. (Not Me!)

Kathy and I would again like to extend our Christmas Greeting to all our Readers and their Families.
