Returns Made, I Got A Call and Governments Arguing.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

I only woke One Time last night and I think it’s my fault. When we sleep our breathing becomes very shallow and mine gets so shallow that my CPAP Machine thinks that I’ve disconnected the hose. When it does that it stops pumping air. In other words it leaves me Gasping for Air. Heck of a way to wake up. The Machine immediately fired up hard enough that it nearly blew my Mask off. I slept soundly the rest of the night and woke minutes after 8:00 this morning.

We spent very little time on the Computers this morning. There weren’t any Jobs to apply for that I had not already filled in.

We were out the door shortly after 10:00. Our destination was our Accountant’s Office. Having dropped off all our Income Records last week we received a call yesterday to pick up our Returns. When we arrived we called to say we were there and then Stephanie met us. Behind a locked door they had a table set up in the Stairwell that had a Clear Partition to keep us all Safe. It took less then Five Minutes to take care of their service. They then E-File our Tax Returns and we generally see our refunds directly deposited within Two Weeks.

We swung by Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail. When we arrived the Canada Post Car was there so we had to wait for Five Minutes until he finished delivering the MailJust following Lock-Down Protocol because Ontario has seen a spike in Coronavirus Cases.

Our Mail added another stop to our morning. The Claim Refund for Kathy’s Foot-Care had arrived so we stopped at Motor City Community Credit Union to cash it. By doing so Kathy now keeps that money aside until the next time Mary from Healthy Heals comes for her next appointment.

We had Chicken and Rice Soup for lunch along with Apple Sauce Cups, Maple Cookies, as well as sharing an Apple along with Orange Slices for dessert.

Taking our Hot Drinks back to the Computers there were still no Jobs to apply for. Minutes later my Cell Phone rang. It was Ron from the Ontario Unemployed Help Center. I haven’t heard from him since my first Job Interview. He didn’t even know about the Interview I had last week. He’ll call me back soon.

We had Beans on Toast for supper along with the Maple Cookies, last of the Grapes and a Chocolate Pudding Cup for dessert.

On the 6 o’clock Local News we heard how the Federal and Provincial Governments are pointing fingers at one another for the Vaccine Delays while our Municipal Government is saying quit arguing and get it moving. Everyone is scared about the next wave especially with the Variants we are now facing.

The Windsor/Essex Region reported 31 New Coronavirus Cases bringing the Active Cases to 403 of which 30 are the New Variant Strains.

Around 9:00 I received Three Groups of Jobs to look at. They were the same as yesterday where they were over a Hundred Miles away or steady Midnights. No Thanks!

We latter watched “Bull”, “Nancy Drew” and “The Equalizer”. They were all good.

  1. That's my Dad's bank too, I've seen it before on your blog but didn't mention it then.

  2. Always nice to get a refund, unfortunately we had to pay this year but not as much as some people I've heard about! Hopefully Ron does you call you back soon.
