No Applications, Fob Problem and Freezing Temps.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Again it was evident that there had been Rain overnight when looking down at the parking lot this morning.

I managed to check The Weather Network, Local News (Windsor Star) and have most of the Blogs we follow read and commented on by the time Kathy joined me for breakfast. It would prove to be another pleasant day outside but with the Provincial Lock-Down it seemed meaningless.

Back at the Computers the only Jobs available in my Trade were either closer to London or Steady Midnights. The one was nearly a Hundred Miles away (160 Kilometres) while the other I’d rather leave to someone younger then myself.

We had the Leftover Ham from our Easter Celebration at our daughter’s, along with the Leftover Asparagus from the other night and finally we finished the Leftover Perogies in the Freezer for our lunch. We then shared an Apple and Chocolate Covered Biscuit before we finished the Leftover Grapes for dessert.

After we cleaned up the Dishes I needed to go outside to look for something I might have lost in the Truck. This also would give me a chance to run the Engine so the Batteries would not be run down. Using the Remote Start Fob from the Apartment I was a little concerned when I didn’t hear the Horn sound out.

When I got down to the parking lot the Truck was not running so I was a little worried but when I turned the Key in the ignition it started right up. The answer to this problem this time is the Battery in the Fob after 12 Years needs to be replaced. A lot cheaper then the Truck Batteries.

For supper we had Macaroni and Cheese topped off with Apple Sauce, Maple Cookies plus a Shared Plum for dessert.

On the 6 o’clock Local News the Canadian Government has temporarily suspended the use of the Johnson and Johnson Vaccines due to a problem. In the Windsor/Essex Region we recorded 2 more Coronavirus Deaths bring the Total Deaths to 409. There were also 4 New Cases bring the Active Cases to 398 for the area.

We reached a high of 63 F (17 C) this afternoon with a forecast for the next Two Weeks of Seasonal Temperatures with the possibility of Below Freezing Temperatures this week.

We watched an episode of “Criminal Minds” later this evening.

  1. I wasn't expecting the sunshine at all so it was a nice surprise. We are fortunate to be able to be outside even with the lockdown. Going to cool down again for a week or so.
