Comment Concerns and Birthday Celebration.

It was slightly past midnight when I went to bed after shutting the Air Conditioner. So imagine my reaction when I woke up just after 9:00 this morning. As soon as I sat on the edge of the bed I felt Kathy touching me wondering where I was going.
I barely had breakfast in the makings when she joined me. Looking outside at the clear sky was a treat in itself as most days recently we never saw the Sun. We finished the last of the Rhubarb Sauce on Toast for breakfast before taking our hot drinks over to the Computers.

Checking our E-Mail there were Two Comments that needed moderation because they were for Blogs older then Two Weeks. The first one wasn’t anything I would have written but it was exceptable. The second one sounded vaguely familiar but was written by a different person. Double checking Both Comments were Identical Word for Word and their IP Addresses were not in English. They were both immediately sent to the Spam Bin. I have heard that if you check out those Web Addresses like that they can get into your Computers and gather sensitive information without you realizing it. These are gone.
There were so many Blogs to read I could only do so many this morning. By the time our morning Chores were finished it was past noon. We had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch along with Fruit, Pastries and a Yogurt Cup for dessert.

We worked together to clean up the Dishes and Kitchen. Back at the Computers we were getting E-Mails that caused us to be alarmed and had us checking our accounts. After seeing with our own eyes we were safe we determined these were definitely from Scammers.
We received an Invitation that we would not miss for the world. Matching our food intake to our Activity Levels Kathy made us each a Pancake for supper. We then watched the 6 o’clock Local News and were surprised to see the number of Coronavirus Cases in our area dramatically climbing.
(L-R) Granddaughter Kylla and daughter Karen.
As soon as the News was finished we were headed for our daughter Karen’s house in Tecumseh. We were wearing our Masks on the back deck even though we were there to help our granddaughter Kylla celebrate her Twenty-Fifth Birthday because there were other friends in attendance. Hard to forget when she was small enough to carry at Disney World as a child then to see her as a beautiful young woman today. Since some wanted Vanilla while others wanted Chocolate Cake Karen solved the problem by getting Two Small Cakes each with a different number to show Kylla’s age.
Sanford trying to help Kylla open her gift.
It was starting to get dark when we realized the time and said our good-byes. It was past 9:00 by the time we got back to the Apartment. We haven’t had the AC on all day but will probably only turn it on tomorrow in the afternoon. Our new Toilette is working like a charm with no Plunging required. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Around here they discovered the health departments were counting "probable" cases not verified by a positive test, along with all the other cases. That accounts for some of the upswing. I hope your departments can count better than ours!!

  2. You were wise to wear your masks. We are in the midst of an outbreak here in Kelowna directly related to a group of 20 - 29 years olds.We have 86 confirmed cases thus far with over 1000 self monitoring and being tested. Still nice that you were a part of your GD's special celebration. Stay safe.
