Not
sure why it happened but this morning we both needed a little extra
sleep. I did get to bed a little latter then Kathy and also
got
up
a little earlier. After getting breakfast ready I even had the chance
to see what our weather was going to be like. When Kathy heard the
report she decided to stay indoors today.
We
both want to say Thank
You
to all those wishing us a Happy
Anniversary
on yesterday’s Blog.
We
also found one of our Favourite
Bloggers wondering
if he was loosing his touch. He
thought that
people were just getting tired of the Same
Old Same Old.
Even though lots of people have been forced to stay home in an effort
to stop the spread of the Corona
Virus
they
seem to think that RV
Bloggers should
still be out having adventures that they can read about. The problem
is that even most of the Bloggers
are forced to stay in place which has
limited
our adventures. The thing readers have to realize is we all have
restrictions that will take time to go away and
we don’t just throw them together.
Hang in there Al and we’ll
all get through this and
be back on the road again
soon.
While
I dawdled a bit this morning Kathy got a head start on making our
late lunch.
She tried a new soup we saw yesterday called Chicken
and Sausage Gumbo.
It tasted great but a little Too
Spicy
Hot
for Kathy. She also cleaned up Strawberries
and a piece of Chocolate
Cake
for us to share for
dessert.
We
both finished our Tea
at
the Computers
before
I started exercising. The other day I mentioned how due to my not
exercising enough I was struggling to do a Single
Set.
By getting into a routine of exercising at least every other day I
will be able to increase my Sets
then the Reps
then the Weight.
I managed to get Two
Complete
Sets
in before calling it a day while
all the Aches
and Pains
disappeared.
While
I cleaned up and cooled down Kathy cleaned up the Asparagus
that was on the verge of going bad and made it into a side for our
Hotdogs
we had for supper. She latter served us a Frozen
Yogurt Cone
as our dessert.
We
didn’t get a single phone call the entire day. Both
the 6
and 11 o’clock Local News
were preempted. We’ll hope “No
News is Good News”.
We
hope
our Canadian
Readers
had a chance to enjoy their Canada
Day.
Thank
you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be
Safe and Enjoy!
It’s
about time.

Glad you guys were able to stay inside today.
ReplyDeleteI should not read your blog late at night because after seeing your meals it makes me hungry :-(
As with this country, some of your areas are opening up completely and others stay locked down.
ReplyDeleteMy Cajun husband has tried canned gumbo. Always a disappointment. He complains not enough rice. In SW Louisiana gumbo is a thin soup served over lots of rice. And in true SW Cajun fashion a scoop of potato salad on top. Their potato salad is more like mashed potatoes with eggs, onion, mustard and mayo. It's actually really good. Oh, and never forgot the okra. And seldom it is spicy enough for them. Sorry Kathy.
ReplyDeleteNice you had a quiet Canada Day! Always nice to try new recipes!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you had a quiet but nice Canada Day. Sorry I am a day late with Happy anniversary wishes. I took the day off yesterday from the computer.
