It
felt good to get to bed at a decent time and get up at decent time.
Kathy at breakfast said she slept like a rock. What she didn’t
realize was that she must have been having a dream that required her
fighting off some unseen enemy that she was punching. Luckily those
punches left no marks but did shorten my sleep periods.
With
a high of Fifty for the day and plenty of things for us to do
on the Computers that’s where we spent most of our morning.
There were more messages about the Social Distancing as a way
of protecting us from the Virus as
things begin to reopen.
Kathy
thought that she would try something different for lunch. Even though
she has made a dish similar in the past but she researched a
different spin on it this morning. While I was still working On-Line
she cooked up some Elbow Macaroni while she chopped Bacon,
Tomatoes, Celery and Onions. The end result was
Delicious with enough for another couple more meals. She also
had Cookies, Oranges and Apple Sauce Cups for
dessert.
Even
though I hoped it would happen I didn’t make a Plan that
could fall to the way side today. Once my lunch had settled I set up
mt workout bench and started exercising. This time I stuck it out
until I had completed Three Sets of Twenty. After a
nice Shower I felt great.
We
waited until after the 6 o’clock Local
News was over before making supper. With neither of us
really feeling hungry we settled with having Split Pea Soup
with a Mixed Brownie and Apple Sauce Cup for dessert.
We
did watch a couple more specials on the reopening of America.
Hold on to your shirts and hope things don’t go the way they could.
Thank
you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Gotta say the lunch she made up looks yummy. Nice to try new things! Good for you for exercising!
ReplyDeleteThe latest I read is that the longer you are shut away, the less immunity you have. We're talking healthy people here I think. If we can get outside but keep our distance, it's better for our immunity, or so the doctors have said. We shall see what happens!!
ReplyDeleteMac Salad sounds good to me, that's what I shall make for lunch... with enough left over for a couple extra lunches.
ReplyDeleteI go out into my yard and also sit on my porch now in early mornings due to the triple digits. But I'll be darned if I'm going out to these places. I see this being a huge disaster! I know small business are suffering but it will be a lot worse when this virus errupts because people DO NOT FOLLOW the safety measures. This is very scary.
ReplyDeleteLunch sounds and looks good. Always nice to mix it up with something different.
ReplyDeleteYou and Kathy stay safe and healthy.
