It
started out as just a regular day of TIG Welding at Work
today with the Owner putting the push on getting more Fixtures
out the door. It was shortly after 10:00 when the other Welder
that has been doing this particular job for years realized that by my
welding the Fixtures he was tacking together was cutting in to
his Overtime. I’m just doing what the Owner tells me
to do. The other Welder then claimed that he needed his Jigs
back and I would have to make my own. Was he ever upset when mine
turned out better then his.
Kathy
was out the door early this morning going back to the Motor
City Community Credit Union. She dropped off some papers
and picked up some cash for a small Banquet we plan to attend.
She barely got back Home when
Mary from Healthy Heals
called to see if she could come early to take care of
Kathy’s Feet. Mary has become a friend over the years and
has often asked our opinions on different things. Having extra time
on her hands today she visited nearly Two Hours showing off
pictures of her new granddaughter.
By
the time I got Home I was so worn
out that a Thirty Minute SNAP was in order in my recliner.
Kathy made us another Pulled Pork Sandwich for supper topped
off with a Yogurt Cup for dessert.
My
warm shower really felt refreshing. Tomorrow we have plans to attend
an early evening get together. Talk about it tomorrow. Thank
you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be
Safe and Enjoy!
It’s
about time.

ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to have NICE people to work with. Too bad that guy isn't one of them!! LOL
ReplyDeleteYour post today reminds me of why I don't miss working. 30+ years as a Human Resource professional was about all I could handle. Oh the stories I could tell. Be patient Rick. I know, I know, sometimes that is hard to do. Or just lose it like I did more than once!
ReplyDeleteDrama in the workplace is something I certainly do not miss. The only thing I miss about my former job is the paycheck.
