Spinning Our Wheels, Short Family Visit and A Real Shocker.

Our Location today is at Wildwood Golf and RV Park, McGregor, Ontario.

With our time here at the Park growing shorter we spent a little extra time getting other things accomplished this morning along with doing more research. Then it happened Kathy got an Alert that exactly what we were looking for had become available only Thirteen Minutes before. With address in hand we were soon headed back to the west side of Windsor.

We know what to watch for so we don’t get scammed but when you knock on the door and the Homeowner had no idea of what we were talking about. Someone out there was posting a Scam.
Since it was nearly lunchtime we stopped at Wendy’s for a nature call as well as lunch. Also because the Drizzle was keeping the temperature below the Sixty Degree Mark we decided to have their Free Seniors Coffees to shake the chill out.

We drove around looking at places that we knew should have been open but due to the weather their doors remained closed. Due to our spending more time out of town since we went Fulltime we were surprised how many of the streets had changed in their appearances. Many with Round-Abouts.
Since we had managed to wander into Tecumseh itself we briefly stopped at our daughter Karen’s house only to find out that she was in Toronto promoting the University of Windsor at an Education Fair. Greg was gone for groceries, Kylla was getting ready to go to her second job and Tyler was just relaxing on his day off. Sanford immediately brought us the last Toy that we gave him to show that he is taking care of it. He does know that when he does that Kathy rewards him with a treat.
Before heading back Home we stopped at the Zehrs grocery store to restock our food supplies then to the Pioneer gas station to fill up the Car.
As soon as we arrived Home we put all the groceries away before went outside to I empty our Waste Tanks. Kathy busied herself making us a Garden Salad and warming up Chicken Strips for our supper. It was tasty and more then enough since we’ve been cutting back on our intake.

When Kathy headed back to her computer I emptied our Trash Containers before heading over to the Park Laundry Room. We’ve so busy this weekend that I didn’t get the chance to wash my Coveralls and they were filthy. Even though I’ve been doing our Laundry for the last Eight Years Kathy explained to me how to get the Grime out of the material without ruining the Coveralls.

With some kind of celebration going on at the Clubhouse I couldn’t use the Exercise Room so while the Coveralls were in the Washer I went to the Park Trash and Recycle Area to dispose of our Trash.

When the wash cycle was finished the Coveralls were slightly cleaner but still dirty. Kathy had said that could happen and to simply repeat the procedure. Half filling the Washer with water then add a Half Cap of Detergent and a Quarter Cap of Clorox Bleach for Colours. Mix it with your hand in the water then add the Coveralls.

I sat there the entire time waiting for the washer to stop. Imagine my surprise when both pair of Coveralls were no longer Blue but Pink. Even Kathy was shocked when she saw what happen. Needless to say the Company in Alberta that I purchased them through received a very detailed E-Mail about what happened. We are hoping there is some way to dye them another darker colour.

Tomorrow is the last day of September and I’m back at Work so we’ll see how that goes. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

Words of Inspiration

It is difficult to know at what moment love begins; it is less difficult to know that it has begun.

  1. I'm sorry Rick but I had to laugh...not at you mind you...it brought back memories of my college days.

I was aware that you had to separate clothes by colors but I wanted to save money and decided to use one washing machine.

What was my surprise but that I ended up with pink sheets and other items because I had thrown in one of my red shirts. Lesson learned!

  2. We've ran upon quite a few of those Round-Abouts this summer in our travels. I for one don't like to have them.

  3. OH NO!!! That's too funny and something that would normally happen to me. Buy some Rit dye and make them blue again!

  5. Well I think you might look just fine in pink. It will give the other employees somethings to talk about.
