Last
night Kathy slept pretty good and actually woke up well rested this morning. I thought
that I had slept well only waking a few times but still slept until nearly 9:00
this morning and what woke me was the Sunlight
that was seeping past the Window Shades
in the living area of the Trailer. I didn’t even have everything ready for
breakfast when Kathy joined me downstairs.
With
the Sun shining brightly there were
all kinds of Golfers out on the Links at the end of our Street but they were all wearing Long Pants and Jackets. There was a steady breeze that was blowing and soon the Sky started filling with the Thick Clouds that we’ve become
accustomed to recently.
Since
we are still having Issues going On-Line and making Comments we only spent a short time on the Computers this morning while we finished drinking our Coffee/Tea. We also both had more inside
chores to do to make this Trailer back
into our Home.
Kathy
was busy re-applying some personal touches to our new Closet Doors that were installed while the Trailer was back at the Jayco Factory Repair Center. I refilled our Blue Streak Toilet Sanitizer system
which also helps to clean the Black Tank
before gathering the Trash and Recycle. Kathy also needed a hand for a
couple of minutes which helped her finish before we stopped for lunch.
Kathy
wanted to reorganize her section of the Bedroom
Cupboard that we also use for storage.
That’s
when I took what I thought would be a quick walk to the Park Trash and Recycle Area but before I got two sites up the street
Kevin and Lorrie started asking more details of where we went to the Desert for the winter. Even though I had explained it to them
before we had the Trailer here to
show them it seemed to have escaped their memories. Kevin didn’t think we had Solar Panels on the Roof because they are still in the Flat Position and he hadn’t seen them. After
walking back to our Site and showing
him that the Panels were actually up
there he started to better understand how we could survive being “Off the Grid”. I also pointed out that
we had gotten Half of our Electricity Deposit back last fall
because we had left the Converter turned
off and had used what energy the Sun
was willing to give us for Free.
I
had barely gotten rid of the Trash when
I met another Rick who used to work at the Heinz Plant in Leamington before it closed in 2014. I
used to work with someone with the same last name as his but it was nobody that
he knew.
Back
at our Site after putting the Hose Cover on to protect our Water Hose from the Sun’s Rays I finally got our Tandem Bicycle re-assembled so that we
can start riding around here for some exercise.
Kathy
was concerned about the height of our Solar
Powered Chandelier so I raised it so no one would bump their head on it. Having
just installed the Gazebo we were also
surprised to find Rain would gather on
one certain spot between the Roof
Supports. Having a piece of PCV Pipe
in our Garden Shed I used Wire Tie Material that is used for tying
plants, to lash it to the existing Frame-Work
which eliminated the low spot in the Roof.
We worked
together in the kitchen prepping Vegetables
that Kathy would Sautee as sides for
our supper. Then I went outside to grill a couple of Steaks we had planned on having while a Karen’s house. This was our
first Home Cooked Meal since our
return and everything tasted wonderful.
I barely got inside door when it started Raining fairly steady for over an Hour then it started the Wave Effect like we had on Saturday. I’ll get some pictures of the Solar Powered Chandelier working in the Gazebo when it’s not Raining. We’ll see what happens tomorrow. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

I'm sure it will take a little time to get the trailer back to the way you want it.
ReplyDeleteI was just going to ask for pictures. Can't wait to see the gazebo in action.
