Even
tough there was a lot of Lightning
all around us throughout the night, being downstairs in the lower basement
saved Kathy from hearing it and we both slept soundly.
Getting
up after everyone had left again this morning gives us a feeling of privacy
that we enjoy. Watching how this family functions reminds us that it was only a
few years ago that our families were working almost the same. After having
Breakfast and a brief talk with Sanford we started getting busy.
Kathy
was really getting on to herself about not having our Expenditure Bookkeeping up to date so she dug right in getting all
the Receipts organized so she could later enter them on our Spreadsheet.
Today
I had the Pill Doucettes to do up
but the first thing I did was to turn on my Computer and check the Spreadsheet
for our Vitamins and Medications.
Noticing that we didn’t have enough of a particular Pill to fill the Doucettes
for 45 Days I had to reset the
counter for 40 Days instead. Doing
that many days of pills actually saves me time, I can better keep tabs of our inventory
and I don’t have to always do them on a Saturday evening.
I
had to remind Kathy at 1:00 that we hadn’t eaten yet so we enjoyed a nice bowl
of Vegetable Soup which helped to
keep our intake down after supporting McHappy
Day so much yesterday.
Kathy
was still making Data Entries after
lunch but I was done filling the Doucettes.
Years ago, we had our Pharmaceutical
needs being filled by one of the Larger
Drug Store Chains that used a Robotic
Dispensing System. That system often shortchanged us so I began counting
our Medications every time we picked
them up and we did that last Saturday. After counting all our Medications from Pharma Choice Drug Store, I can say they have yet to short
change us.
Just
after 2:30 I headed out to pick Tyler up at his Co-op Training
Shop. Greg
had a dental appointment so I had no problems picking him up, besides it gave us
a chance to talk on the way home.
Kathy
and I were happy that we got our Patio
painted the other day and that it had a chance dry with the warm Sunshine. The Rain only stopped a few times for very short periods of time today.
We had
to drop off Kathy’s Claim Form at Green Shield for when Mary from Healthy Heals worked on her feet. When that was done
we decided to go out for supper so we went to Arby’s and enjoyed their Greek Gyro
which we find Satisfying as well as Tasty and with their Two for Eight Dollars deal right now,
very affordable.
It
has been quite some time since we went to Winners just to walk around and
since it had started Raining again
it was a practical stop. Kathy was looking for things for herself and our Site but when we walked through the Shoe Department she spotted a pair of Casual Slip-On Shoes in just my size. I
have narrow feet and they fit perfectly. Kathy insisted they were waiting for
us.
We
were back at Karen’s before 6:00 but with Greg watching the Cooking Channel we missed the News.
We
appreciate the comments of concern about our Jayco Trailer. J.T. didn’t call back today
so tomorrow I’ll have him inform Jayco that we write a Daily Blog and that people are waiting
to see if they do Repair it the way
it should have come out of the Factory in
the first place before they consider buying one of their products. Why would
anyone buy a product knowing that the Manufacturer
will not stand behind? Hopefully that might speed things up.
Thanks for following along, feel free to leave a
comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

Reading about your troubles with Jayco really makes me want to buy one——-NOT.
ReplyDeleteHang in there though.
There's nothing that gets around faster than a bad RV review. Hopefully they get the message.
ReplyDeleteAs you know we have a Jayco Trailer, and watching your issues makes me wish we would have bought something different. Just hoping whatever issues we have we can fix ourselves now! Good luck guys.
