More Computer Issues, Lots of Errands, Unlucky Neighbour and Great Southwest Salad.

Our Location today is at McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

Since we both seem to sleep better to the sound of Rain tapping away on our roof, we both managed to sleep like a couple of rocks last night. I was up before Kathy this morning and it wasn’t from the Sun that was hiding behind the Clouds. After getting things ready for breakfast tried as much as I could and there was no way the Pictures would post to Last Night’s Blog.

Even though our Verizon MiFi Hotspot was being boosted by our WeBoost with the inside antenna we would have lots of trouble getting On-Line today. That is affecting our ability to Post Pictures, Comments, Check E-Mails or do any On-Line Communications. Hopefully that will change when I install our Outside Antenna later this week.

We spent more time drinking our Coffees then working on the Computers. We also made up a Shopping List of things we didn’t have on our Shopping List on Sunday. After loading what we thought we might need in the Car we were soon on our way to Amherstburg with a list of places to go.

Having had a very light breakfast we stopped at McDonalds and started our day with a Grilled Sweet Chili Wrap and Strawberry/Mango/Pineapple Smoothie for our early lunch. They always say don’t shop on an Empty Stomach.

Next, we walked the aisles of the No-Frills grocery store getting most of what was on our List at lower prices then at the other grocery chains.

Since they don’t sell Cooked Chickens at a Deli Counter there, we ended up at Walmart where they do carry them and more. We also looked for other things to replace the ones we have that are wearing out but No Luck. When we came outside we were looking at something we had never seen before but it sure had people’s attention. On the roof of his SUV was what appeared to be a Hippie from an old comic strip laying down and holding on to the Roof Rack. Across the top of his windshield were the words Chainsawed Expressions. What better way to advertise his business.

We made a quick stop at Dollarama where we scratched a few more things off our List.

Knowing that our son Kevin would be home we made a quick stop to drop a package off.

With the Sun finally making an appearance we then drove over to the Home Hardware Building Center thinking they might have the hardware we needed but that was another wasted stop.

Heading back towards the Park we thought about stopping at the McGregor Home Hardware. Small town Hardware Stores are known for having hidden treasures but not today. We both went in different directions so that we would be certain the other hadn’t missed anything.

Back Home even with the moderate temperatures as soon as we opened the door we had to hurry to open the Windows and Vents to cool off the inside of the Trailer. Knowing what that the coming Weekend Temperatures could reach we might have to exercise our AC to cool down.

We had just finished putting our groceries away when we saw our neighbour Marva and her daughter at her trailer without Maynard. When they were about to leave we asked if Maynard was okay. He tends to rush with anything he does and on the 14th he was going down in his basement when he thought he was on the Bottom Step. The Two Step Landing was so hard that he broke his Ankle and a couple of Bones in his Foot. This is the Third Year in a row that he has injured himself. We sent her along with Prayers for a Speedy Recovery and a Warning for Maynard to slow down.

Dark Clouds seemed to be gathering to our north so we sat under the Gazebo where there was a nice breeze. Hugh came over to talk for a while, kind of an impromptu Happy Hour. We talked about all the different RVs he had with his Late Wife then what we have had. Before we knew it those Dark Clouds were dropping large Raindrops as a warning. Hugh headed home and we headed in just before the Rain came down hard for the next Ten Minutes.

Using some of the Cooked Chicken Kathy got at the Walmart Deli Counter she created a wonderful Southwest Chicken Salad for our supper.

We watched a movie we had purchased at Walmart in Parker, Arizona on television. Since we are having issues with the Computers and we aren’t hooked up to Cable it’s the perfect time to watch them.

Tomorrow is forecasted to be a dry day so we’ll be getting an early start so we can accomplish everything we need to. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

Ask a silly question:

You know that little indestructible black box that's used on planes?

Why can't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?
