Google Headache Day.

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
Waking up to the cloudy but calm weather outside this morning was a pleasant change from last night when we went to bed. You could actually hear the 60 + MPH winds howling around the building keeping Kathy awake wondering if at any second the windows would blow in. Once we turned on the weather channel and saw the destruction in the mideastern states we knew exactly how lucky we had been. They were also forecasting more high wind warnings for most of our area for today.

After breakfast I started reading blogs and kept trying to sign-in on posts that we follow and kept being stopped with the message that the site owner had refused me access to their site. So I started trying to leave comments and the same thing was happening. Now I know that I don't make comments on anyones post that would give them any reason for such action. So I continued reading until I got to the end of the list I had and was given the same message 12 times and the last one was to our own post, now I knew we had a problem.

I went to Google's site and filled in my information and password and phone number three times before they finally called with a six digit pin number to unlock our Identity again. On their screen it said this was being done because of unusual activity happening on our site. If reading other peoples blog and writing our's is unusual activity then what do they consider normal, for the site to just vegetate? NOT!

Karen called just before lunch asking if we could watch Tyler for a few hours today as she and Greg were going to see Ashley perform in the local production of Phantom of the Opera. He was finally doing better today probably needed the extra few days for the Antibiotics to kick in. Kylla called a little while after asking that I pick her up at work at 3:00 pm. because her ride had reneged on her. Not a problem because I was going to drive Tyler home once she got there so it was only an extra few blocks.

Tonight Kathy and I went to have dinner and visit with Bill and Vera at there beautiful Condo. After dinner while visiting Kathy laid out the Itinerary for the trip they will be taking with us in our trailer this July. Bill had always wanted to bring Vera back to the natural hotsprings at Thermopolis Wyoming but because his failing eyesight caused him to loose his driver's license he was really feeling down about it. Since Kathy and I have already been there with the promise of returning we thought we'd help Bill Keep his promise. When we left they were both Beaming at the thought of returning to Thermopolis and not having to worry about the driving or any of the planning.

We have a Thank You to a new follower of our blog. Her name is Jan Goldfield and I believe that Jan is possibly an RVer in the making. Her site is From the Pondlady's Pad. After tackling a home project for herself many years ago Jan became a very sought after designer and builder of pond gardens not only at homes but libraries and Art Galleries as well until her Retirement. Again Thanks for following Jan.

Judging from all the dramatic weather we are seeing all over North America it definitely tells us that Spring is already here and not waiting for the official  date in 17 days. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It;s about time.

  1. How nice of you to include Bill and Vera in your trip. I'm sure it something they will never forget.

  2. Thanks for the mention, Rick. Actually, the pondlady's pad is pretty much defunct unless I start writing there again someday. Right now, my http:/www.pondlady.com site is active and attracts lots of pond folks. My new book is also out and available at the site.
I have been reading about your RV travels for a good while now and enjoy them a lot. Thanks for writing.

    Howdy Kathy & Rick,
Thank you, so much for taking care of a friend, with awful handicap and being kind enough to share a trip with them!! You're almost as Good as Al B..
Are all Ontarian Frenchmen as friendly as y'all??
I'll have to straighten my 'older'(89) brother out; he went to Ontario & Quebec, with his Airstream several years ago and didn't get a very
good impression of your citizens.. He doesn't read French road signs!!!
I only wish Ontario wasn't so FAR AWAY, from Texas...
