We were up by 8:00 this morning and didn't like the looks of the weather but by the time we were out the door it was just beautiful Sunshine.
A quick stop at the sub shop to pick up lunch and then another stop at the trailer. We were a little amused when we saw what someboby's means of getting to work was and leaving it parked in a storage yard uncovered.
As soon as we got to Kevin's it didn't take long to start cutting the wood needed to make the new drawers for the back bedroom in the trailer. Because of the severe Arthritis that Kevin has in his hands he is very limited as to what he can do but never stops trying. Once we finished cutting the wood we set up and started cutting the metal before lunch. As you can see my back also decided to act up this morning.
Those submarine sandwiches hit the spot for lunch and made it so we could press on to get all the major cutting done before the boys got home from school. We stopped around three because even with the back windows on the house Cameron has super sensitive hearing and noise from machines is very hard on him. We'll be back tomorrow and finish prepping the metal for assembly and finish the drawers as well.
Kathy has always shunned away from using our DSLR and finally started to experiment with it today. With the warmer weather 79 F ( 26 C) she even ventured out and tried some nature shots on her own. On the way home you could see that many other people were feeling the same way. People enjoying their motorcycles or driving convertibles with the tops down it was perfect.
Since Spring arrived at 1:14 am. today there were two comments from yesterdays post from Shoeless Joe suggesting I needed something else to countdown and Elaine saying it won't be long until summer is here gave me an idea. Actually Kathy suggested something totally different so tonight we'll start two new countdowns.

I'm liking that last flower pic, a real sign of spring!
ReplyDeleteWow, you don't see those old cars parked just anywhere anymore, nice. Be careful with that back, as Sheryl can atest, once you really jack it up, it can be miserable for a very long time.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work with the camera, geting good shots can be really rewarding.
Good job on the photography Kathy.
ReplyDeleteLove the daffodils...yellow always lifts my spirits.
