Still Windy, ER and The Pitt.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It was the fourth night of moving between the Bed, my Recliner and back to Bed. My sleeping habits were improving, but now they are taking a dramatic reversal. Another thing that's been noticed, is that because of the interuptions during the night, I have been sleeping later in the morning. If this continues to happen, I may need to use my Alarm Clock to get me back on schedule.

We had Yogurt Cups and Cookies for breakfast before moving to our Computers.

Our daughter Karen called to see how we were doing. After hearing our answers, she specified that she meant me. I was stunned, like what was she talking about. When she mentioned my Eyes, I felt like a fool. After not using the Drops yesterday or today, I had totally forgotten having the Lasik Surgery on Monday. She must have thought that I was still sleeping, but my eyes are feeling good and focusing the way they should. "Thanks for asking Karen."

We waited until Noon before heading out. Having checked The Weather Network earlier and noting that for the second day in a row we were getting 39 MPH (63 KLM) Wind Gusts, I found the only difference was that they were from the South today. I was glad that Kathy waited unside the rear entrance for me to bring the Car around, because I almost got blown over with one Gust.

Our first stop was Guardian Storage where we collected the last of this week's Mail.

We then headed over to Wendy's where we enjoyed their 6 PC Chicken Nuggets and Seniors Soft Drinks for lunch. Thought it was 23 F (-5 C) everyone scrambling to get inside was bundled up for an Arctic Blast.

Our final stop was the Dollarama closest to home, where we restocked on Breakfast Juice and Brisk Iced Tea before the coming Holidays.

I dropped Kathy at the front entrance to our building, before parking the Car. Even though the Wind was at my back, I used the same entrance, so it wouldn't blow in my face, and it felt like I was floating on air.

We finished our Computer work before making supper. We enjoyed Sauteed Zucchini, Potato Slices and Honey Garlic Spareribs. We later had a small dish of Frozen Chocolate Yogurt for dessert.

While checking what there was to watch on television, I was surprised to see the medical drama called "E.R." running a marathon. We turned it on long enough to see the last episodes. Since there was no "Local News" on today, we continued watching a few episodes of "The Pitt". Noah Wyle, though he has aged, performs in both shows.

We've got things to do tomorrow.

Words of Inspiration

To think I have had more than 60 years of hard struggle for a little liberty, and then to die without it seems so cruel.”
