It felt good going straight to Bed last night, but the feeling wouldn't last. Just over an Hour later, my Neck and Shoulders started screaming for relief. After spending just under Three Hours in my Recliner, I was able to finish the night in Bed.
Having slept in had us eating a Yogurt Cup and Breakfast Bar to start the day. Checking the Radar showed that tomorrow's forecasted Rain won't reach our reach our area until later in the afternoon.
It was nearly noon when my Eyes started to feel like a Sandbox. That's the same feeling you experience when getting a Welding Flash, but today it was because we had forgotten my Eye Drops. Though there was no cutting to the eyes this time like my first Surgery, the Laser only caused burning to correct the problem. Just like a Cut or External Burn, proper care must be taken for it to heal. The Drops immediately created a Soothing Coolness that brought them back into focus.
By that time, we were running behind schedule and chose to share a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza for lunch.
Stepping outside was welcoming because even though it was not a record, we were enjoying a Sunny 46 F (8 C) with a gentle Southerly Breeze. We also ran into John the Building Maintenance Man and told him how well his Heated Ceilings were last night. He claims to have Heating Specialist coming in soon, because we are not the only ones complaining.
Since it was after 2:30, Rush Hour Traffic was in full swing. We lucked out crossing the City on Riverside Drive, only experiencing a single Construction Traffic Controlled Stop.
We managed to arrive with 5 Minutes to spare for our appointment at Fantastic Sam's but looking through the front window, were surprised to see Julia already working on another customer. Being temporarily shorthanded, she was working a long shift, but that only delayed Kathy by Ten Minutes. (Not like a Doctor's Office!). We both felt much better and were leaving only Five Minutes later than normal. (Weird Math.)
Since it would soon be supper, we thought outside the box and went to Taco Bell. We chose Chicken Quesadillas with Cinnamon Delights as a dessert.
Since the Sun sets at 5:00, I dropped Kathy at the front entrance and soon joined her upstairs. She was having trouble with our Office Stapler and could not get it to work. I found Undersized Staples jammed inside. Those Staples made a quick trip to the Recycle Bin.
We watched the "6 o'clock Local News", before watching "The Santa Clause" again. I enjoy it and Kathy watched it like it was the first time she has seen it.
We'll be out running errands before the Rain hits tomorrow.
