Planned Laundry, Insurrection and Cases.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

When I went to bed last night I had already Planned on what I would do today. You’ve seen me repeatedly write about things that I Planned not happening before. Surprise today my Plan worked out but it also caused another problem. Just like Pretravel Nights I kept waking looking at the Clock being anxious for morning to arrive. So even though I spent just over Six Hours hooked up to me CPAP Machine most of that time was not spent sleeping.

When I started looking at the Clock every minute I knew it was time to start my day at 7:00 this morning. Getting dressed and eating breakfast by the light of a Nightlight was a challenge but I didn’t want to wake Kathy sooner then necessary. I finally turned on a Reading Light so that I could sort the Laundry.

Why do pictures look brighter then it was.

I was ready to leave the Apartment by 8:00 but there was another problem. Even though there was barely any Daylight coming through the Balcony Door by just opening the Bedroom Blind there was enough to wake Kathy. As soon as I served her breakfast I stripped the bed linens she had just been sleeping on before heading out the door.

I arrived at the Second Floor Laundry Room by 8:15 to find only One Washer not in use but the others were not running. Someone had put their Laundry in and probably went home for breakfast. My first load was halfway through its cycle when they suddenly appeared. Since I try not to leave our Laundry unattended it was past 12:30 before it was all folded and we got back to the Apartment.

Since our area has gone back to Lock-Down the Local Health Unit has visited buildings such as the one we live in requiring them to enforce Safety. Our building now requires everyone to Wear Masks in all Common Areas, Elevators and Laundry Rooms. For nearly Four Hours I wore my Mask while folding Laundry as people came and went.

Lunch was Italian Wedding Soup with Cookies and Apple Sauce Cups for dessert.

Once the Laundry was put away we decided we wanted to watch the Ceremonial Counting of the Electoral Vote. As soon as the objection to the votes in Arizona was made each house went their own way to debate the objection.

We decided to watch Law and Order that we have not watched since before the Election. During that time we made a Summer Pasta Salad for supper with Carbonated Juice and Biscuits as a side.

As we watched our 6 o’clock Local News the first thing they covered was the Rioting that took place while Protesters tried to take over the halls of Congress resulting in the shooting death of a female that entered a Secure Area.

Our Coronavirus Cases and Deaths in Ontario took a leap with most of the Cases happening here in the Windsor/Essex area.

We’ll now be seeing Seasonal Temperatures for the rest of the month but we might see some Sunshine on the Weekend even with Freezing Temperatures.

We checked back on the US News Media to find the House and Senate busy debating. We’re going to bed letting them take care of business. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Oh my. This requires a little more research. It was not Trump supporters but ANTIFA carrying Trump flags. You can't believe everything you see on the news any more. That lady was a veteran standing outside on the lawn and was shot by the police by mistake. Where is the outrage about that? What about all the killings, looting and burning in Portland and Seattle? Where was the outrage then? News stations used to tell the truth. Now they tell you what they want you to believe. Sadly, people do believe it without further investigation.

    1. Yo can't believe everything you read either. But Ashli Babbitt was shot inside the White House as she tried to break into the chamber by Capitol Police. The police administered first and called for medical services.

  2. The wearing of masks in the common areas of a large apartment building might not be a bad idea and especially in humid areas that are not aired out like laundry rooms. I understand it is a nuisance and probably very uncomfortable for you, but please stay healthy!

  3. It is amazing to me how the far-right media lies and their viewers believe it. Like Jeff Pierce mentioned the woman that was shot was inside the White House not on the lawn.

The difference between Portland and Seattle was it was not McDonald's or a shoe store being looted at the urging of the President of the United States...it was the house of the people with all of our elected officials inside.

The far-right media the likes of Fox News NEVER tell the truth that is why 70% of Republicans believe there was massive voter fraud something that has been debunked multiple times by the courts. Trump LOST the election fair and square...move on!

  5. Not shot on the lawn? That's what C-Span said in their coverage that very afternoon. I guess C-Span isn't telling the truth.
