Another Media Mess, Dropped Phone Exercise and Soaring Numbers.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

I was up by 8:00 this morning getting things ready for breakfast before getting my Computer ready for my morning On-Line Interview. Needing to have a grace period when the Clock hit 9:00 I opened the Bedroom Blinds as a means of slowly waking Kathy. Even though we never saw the Sun all day it was just bright enough outside to wake her.

After eating when Kathy went to her Computer while I finished my morning chores and getting dressed before returning to the Livingroom. I made certain everything was ready even turning off extra programs.

When 10:29 arrived I attempted to open the Zoom Link to the meeting. I retried the connection with nothing happening. The E-mail mentioned that if I had any problems to call. The only Phone Number I had to call was the main Office and it only had the receptionist. I explained the problem and asked she have Kossi call me. Ten Mminutes passed before that happened. He could not get it to work at his end either. He did the Interview over the Phone and was happy with it.

I was finally having a chance to sip my then cold Coffee when the phone rang again. It was Kossi calling back with and employer looking for a Welder that could weld Aluminium but with a Spool Gun. Being honest about my limited use of that piece of equipment he said he’d still review my Resume and Application. Talk about getting all tensed up.

I put my Cell Phone on the table just in case while making Grilled Bacon and Cheese Sandwiches for lunch. Kathy made a dessert plate of Shortbread Cookies along with Peaches topped with Cool-Whip.

It was past 1:30 when we returned to the Computers I put my Phone on the Console between our chairs because the employer said he would call back and I didn’t want to miss the call. Somehow my elbow hit my Phone causing it to fall between the seat cushion and the Console. When I tried to grip it with my finger tips it slipped through to the floor. When I lifted the front of the couch and there was no Phone. Pulling the couch forward there it was. I was about to pull the couch further out when the Phone started to ring. Thinking it was the employer calling I leaned over the back of the couch to reach it but by putting my weight on the back of the couch caused it to flip onto its back with me on top. I was finally able to answer the Phone only to hear a Telemarketer for a Duct Cleaning Business. I think the neighbours heard me telling him we live in a XXXX Apartment. On the bright side I got plenty of exercise this afternoon.

When I finally looked at yesterday’s Comments Allison suggested downloading Zoom on both our Computers so we could test it to be sure it worked. Smart Idea! I did it Twice to both Computers with no luck. Even though it says the program had loaded there’s nothing on the Computers themselves.

We had a Grilled Chicken Breast that was so thick we shared it and Herbed Noodles for supper with a Chocolate Pudding Cup for dessert.

On the 6 o’clock Local News we learned there were 16 more Coronavirus Deaths and 179 New Cases in the Windsor/Essex area just today. The Ontario Government is going into a tighter Lock-Down in attempt to stop the Spread. The Vaccines could be available by the end of March. All that and I’m trying to find a job.

More F.B.I. warnings about more armed attaches in the US.

  2. I'm going to suggest that you 'downloaded' the program but have not yet 'installed' it. Do a search for it then double click on it. Alternately, go back to where you downloaded it from and click it as per then look in the lower left corner of your internet page screen it may be there waiting to be double clicked...
