After a day of prepping for today’s procedure it was necessary to have a shower before going to bed last night. I am part of a minority where by taking a shower it invigorates me so I should only take a shower in the morning or much earlier in the day. Add that to the fact that I had set the Alarm to be certain we’d be up on time and you can be certain that I hardly slept.

I lay in bed a little longer after the Alarm went off giving Kathy time to have breakfast before joining her at the Computers. We only had time enough to check our E-mails and The Weather Network.
We were just about to leave when the phone rang. It was the Southwestern Ontario Endoscopic Clinic calling for me to arrive early.

Kathy insisted I drive to the Clinic so she could remain calm a little while longer. (Kathy worries about everything)

At this time Patient’s Drivers are required to wait in their Cars but due to Kathy’s difficulty at hearing the phone they allowed her to sit inside wearing her Mask to wait. While I was being prepped inside the Examination Room the only time my Mask was removed was to have an Oxygen Mask put on then the Mask was replaced over it.
Today's Temperature.
We were on our way home within the Hour and yes Kathy was driving. Inside the Apartment it felt good to snack on soft food. Due to the lack of sleep last night and the Anesthetic I needed to lay down for a short nap (Snap). Kathy finally woke me up just before 4:00.
She had already started making things for supper so when I sat at my Computer she placed my then cold cup of Tea on the table and gave me my dessert a Baked Apple. This was probably heavier then I should have been eating but it helped fill the emptiness. She was about to cook supper but I asked her to wait until closer to 5:30 when she made us each a personal sized Tourtiere. I felt like I waddled away from the table.

The 6 o’clock Local News gave us the same news about the Coronavirus Shutdown to our immediate area due to the deaths of Migrant Farm Workers. I feel for them but since they have all been quarantined why should everything around them remain closed. The weather guesser showed we can expect warmer wet weather now through the weekend. Perfect way to start Summer.

We watched an NCIS episode this evening before turning back to our Computers. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  3. It's always a relief to have any kind of procedure over with and to relax. Hopefully you don't have to do any others. Enjoy the nice summer temps we are experiencing and take Kathy with you for a walk.
