Whenever we have to set the Alarm to get up early for any reason One of us is not going to sleep too well. I looked at the Clock on the Dresser and it showed it was Ten Minutes before the Alarm would go off. Kathy woke up with a Headache from not getting enough sleep so changed her mind and went back to bed.
It didn’t take long before I was heading out the Door. My destination was River Town Dental in Amherstburg. It seemed that I was there in very little time. I was brought in right on time and only waited Five Minutes for Shawn to come in. I’ve had wear on my Front Teeth and needed to have the One rebuilt. With changing Medical Technology the procedure was done painlessly in Fifteen Minutes without the use of any kind of Freezing. Wish they would have had that kind of thing in the Dental World when I was growing up.
By the time I got Home Kathy was getting dressed and feeling much better. She only slept another Half Hour but it made a big difference. We worked together making our Grocery Shopping List but decided to have Soup for lunch with Fruit and Cookies for dessert before leaving.

As we were heading for the Park Exit there were all kinds of Golf Carts lined up at the First Hole. Anywhere you looked there were Golfers. This was perfect weather for them. Mid Seventies, only a slight Breeze, lots of Sun and no Rain.

As we drove out there were Farmers along the roads looking over their Fields. With all the Rain we had the crops that had been planted basically drowned and the rest of the Fields are still too wet to work. The News says that local Farmers have lost Millions of Dollars in lost crops.
Our destination was the No-Frills grocery store in Amherstburg because we like the layout of the store and they seem to have a better selection then the No-Frills that is located in Essex. We did a little stocking up today but still spent less then at most of the Big Name grocery stores.

The only thing they didn’t have in stock were the Tylenol Arthritis Tablets that work better then Extra Strength Tylenol for helping Kathy deal with her pain. While I loaded our Groceries in the Car Kathy walked next door to the Shoppers Drug Mart. By the time I joined her she was a little puzzled on what to do. (The pain does that to most people.) The larger bottle was On Sale for 45% off which is an unheard of price. We won’t be worried about them when we go away.
It had been nearly Two Hours since we had lunch and were starting to get thirsty. We stopped at McDonald’s where we each had a Blueberry/Pomegranate Smoothie which not only quenched our thirst but cooled us down.

Back Home it took some time to get everything put away. We settled in at the Computers in an attempt to catch up on our morning reading.

Just before 5:00 I grilled the Spare Ribs that we had purchased at Wigle’s Deli and Meat Market. When Kathy chose this strip she did it by sight. This strip weighed more then double of what most Precooked Packages we share. We cut it in half before I started cooking it on the Weber Q. In the meantime Kathy made a Garden Salad and cooked a couple Ears of Corn in the Microwave. Everything tasted wonderful and we still have Half the Spareribs for another meal.

Once the Dishes were cleaned and put away we decided to watch the movie “Mechanic Resurrection” starring Jason Statham, Jessica Alba and Tommy Lee Jones. Unlike the Charles Bronson version Jason Statham did not die in the first movie. This movie kept us on the edge of our seats the entire time. We gave it a Ten.

Tomorrow we have things that need to be done before we start rushing again on Monday. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

  1. It is such a shame to hear about all the loses our farmers have suffered this year due to the weather.

You are right...getting Tylenol Arthritis Tablets at 45 percent off is virtually unheard of...good buy!

  2. Yup I know how the farmers are feeling. There's nothing worse than spending dollars to keep your farm afloat, only to lose the entire crop.

I didn't know about Tylenol Arthritis! Thanks!!
