Even though it rained before we got Home last night the sound of Rain on our roof throughout the night again lulled us to sleep. It was so relaxing that it was again past 8:00 this morning before we woke up but it wasn’t because of the Sun. The Sun was nowhere to be found behind the thick wall of Clouds. Even after we’d been sitting at the Computers for a while The Weather Network was showing a clear sunny day but we could not see it.
Since it looked like it was going to Rain any minute we finished a number of other inside chores before having an early lunch. Keeping it lite we had Chicken Noodle Soup with a piece of Date Square (which is actually healthy) for our dessert.
We spread the Stones on the Patio to dry them out.
When I closed up for the day on Tuesday I made a big mistake. By sweeping all the Decorative Stone into a pile I thought that I was keeping the Patio neat. Instead when we had all that Rain starting that night until this morning I created a big Mud Pie.
These Mourning Doves were looking for a place to make a nest.
The only thing that could be done was to separate it with the Rake then start picking small batches of Stones from there. Next I used my gloved hands to wear the Mud and Debris off the Stones. Kathy came outside to keep me company and could see that I was struggling because I wanted to have the Decorative Stones as clean as possible before putting them back in the Flowerbed. When the Sun finally came out around 2:00 she used the Broom to spread them on the Patio and tried separating as much of the Debris as possible. She was also sweeping away the piles of Debris that she knew I had finished with into the Dustpan before dumping it in the Gallon Pale in the back of the Truck. Working together we finished the last of it around 5:30.
The Hostas in our Middle Flowerbed are hiding something special.
While Kathy went inside to get things ready for supper I used the Hose to wash most of the dirt from the Patio.
Supper tonight was a store bought Hawaiian Pizza that took exactly Thirty Minutes from the Freezer to the Weber Q to be done perfectly. With the Lite Lunch and Late Supper we simply devoured it.
Our completed Privacy Barrier at the rear of out Site.
After doing the Dishes and closing things up outside we were done for the day. It will definitely be an Extra Strength Tylenol night for the both of us. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
