We were really happy that we didn’t need to get up early this morning after having to do it Two Days in a row. One thing we are not happy with however is the way the Temperatures are up one day then down the next then down then up. That has been happening for over a week and is forecasted throughout the Long Weekend. When we got up this morning the temp was up to 43 F (6 C). When we go to bed tonight we’ll be under the covers to stay warm but by morning we’ll be laying on top of the sheets to stay cool.

Last night when we got Home we left the Merry Thanksmas Gifts locked in the Car. Not wanting to tempt fate after breakfast I hauled them in while Kathy transferred them on top of our Bed. She did that because we had things we needed to do in the Living Area and needed space.

While I sorted laundry, Kathy busied herself making Tomato Rice Soup and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich that we shared for lunch that also helped get the chill out of our bodies. We can’t get into counting calories so we are just do it by eye.

After I headed to the Park Laundry Room Kathy started Dusting and Vacuuming the inside of the trailer. When I finally returned with the Folded Clothes we needed to move some of those Gifts back to the Living Area in order to have someplace to lay the clothes before putting them away.

When it was time to make supper, Kathy put together a Greek Pasta Salad and chopped some Tomatoes for sides while I was grilling a couple of small Salmon Fillets and a couple of Zucchini. Once they were on the Grill I went inside and quickly cleaned and chopped at nice Pineapple. When I went back out to the Grill Kathy served us each a small bowl of that sweet tasting Pineapple for dessert.

Once the Dishes were washed and the Grill cleaned we walked over to the Park Exchange Library. That gave us a little exercise and a chance to see that the Transient Area was about 75% Filled and more RVs were still coming in.

When we were walking past Kevin and Lorrie’s they invited us over for a Campfire and since it was only 55 F (13 C) we excepted. The group would grow after a while with Ray, Peter, Bill and Liz coming over for a short time. When it started to Drizzle just before 9:00 everyone headed Home.

Even though we didn’t think we needed to go back to Windsor too soon we’ll be going back tomorrow so we’ll get to visit with Vera for lunch. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

You Might Be a Redneck If

You've ever muttered "I could hit that from here with a .22" at a wildlife park.

  1. Yup .. I'm pretty sure you can drive to Mumbai. Might take you awhile though. The weather seems to be weird everywhere ... my house is the same. Either hot or cold! LOL
