Where’s Spring, Checking Out Our Computers and Watching Movies.

Our Location today is at McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

With Kathy’s Computer having the most difficulty to get On-Line, I stayed up past midnight trying different things all to no avail because of a Systems Check that insisted on high-jacking the Computer. Even though we were well rested from a good night’s sleep with the Rain tapping on our roof we both managed to sleep until 8:00 this morning.

We watched through the windows as the Golfers would hold Umbrellas as much as possible over their Playing Partners to keep one another dry. That’s either Dedication or an Addiction.

Wanting to know whether the problem was due to our Computers or our MiFi connection we decided to try another Hotspot. We went to McDonalds in Essex and after having a Sweet Chili Wrap for lunch I brought in both our Laptops that we had packed in the Car. Even though it is an unsecured connection we were both able to access most of the sites we tried to go on. Facebook/Messenger was the only one we couldn’t get onto.

The Rain had changed to a Drizzle when we left but we didn’t feel like going back Home that early so we decided to visit our daughter-in-law Jen but she wasn’t there.

We headed to Pennington’s in Windsor to see if they had any Shorts for Kathy. Not having any luck there we drove across the road to the Devonshire Mall. The few stores Kathy looked at carried clothes meant for the younger crowd.

We were about to leave when we noticed movies playing at the Odeon Cinema that we had seen trailers to. We decided to see the movie Adrift which is based on an actual incident. It was interesting to see how they went back and forth during and before the incident to build the story. It will keep your interest and we both enjoyed it.

It was nearly 4:30 when the movie ended so we headed to the Food Court and enjoyed a couple of small Chicken Wraps along with a Sweet Potato Fry that we shared from A&W. We just barely finished eating when they announced the Mall Closing at 5:00 since it was Sunday.

Back Home after trying unsuccessfully to go On-Line we decided to watch another Movie we purchased at Walmart in Parker Arizona. These are not current movies but we didn’t see them before and are enjoying them.

Tomorrow we’ll try something different about our Computer Issues. Wish us Luck! Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

thank God,

but he can do nothing else on earth.

  1. By now I would be really upset over this MiFi with Verizon. Do other people in your park have the same issues?

  2. I just used my small iPad as a personal hotspot and have no issue providing I have access to these internet which is not always the case in remote areas. I can have both iPads and the PC on the internet at the same time with no issues. So this works well if you Have an iPad.
