Kathy slept like a rock once again without any kind of help but with our needing to get up early in the morning again on Thursday I wasn’t taking any chances about not being rested. By simply taking a Tylenol before going to bed I only woke once to turn over and the next time was ahead of the Alarm. We are using the Alarm to train ourselves so that we’ll get to bed earlier and the Early Hour on Thursday won’t affect us so bad.

When we got up this morning the Breeze blowing through the Windows was slightly cool but we survived. The afternoon Humidex would be above the 90 F (32 C) mark so we didn’t bother closing the Windows. After another Lite Breakfast we did Kathy’s Eyedrops before settling in on the Computers. With a number of things planned for this afternoon we had our Chores done and an early lunch before heading out the door.

Our first stop was Pharma Choice drugstore in Amherstburg to pick up a refill of Eyedrops for Kathy. With this being Construction-Season, we had plenty of Detours to get where we were going.

The next stop was Dollarama in Windsor a block from Kathy’s Family Doctor. Since her office closes from noon until 2:00 we had to kill some time. We picked up a couple of Notebooks for Kathy and a couple bottles of Orange Juice from the cooler before heading over to the Doctor’s Office.

This was just to review Kathy’s Blood Test she had done last month. While there the Doctor decided to check Kathy’s Vital Signs and could not believe Kathy’s Blood Pressure 120 over 70. That’s the best she’d ever seen it. Kathy’s secret was to just think about the Mountains around Quartzsite.

When I lost the set of Keys back in March there was a Key on that ring to the Debris Brush Hitch Lock on the back of the Truck. Our next stop was Princess Auto where they had the 5/8” Hitch Locks on Sale for 60% off. After dropping Kathy at the door as I parked the Truck I noticed an interesting Street Rod in the lot so I took a few pictures. While inside I realized we were late with Kathy’s next round of Eyedrops. After washing my hands inside, we did the Drops outside in the Truck in the Parking Lot.

Our next stop was to visit with our friend Kathie. Her daughter Christine and granddaughter Kingsley were over visiting. Kingsley is just over a Year Old and was running all over around Kathie’s apartment. After they left we took Kathie out to the nearby Michigan Diner for supper. With her limited income she doesn’t go out too often. Back at her apartment she asked me to see if I could modify a couple Garden Gates she was given to create a Corral effect on the Patio for when Kingsley comes to visit. That’ll happen on our Next Visit.

We stopped for Diesel at the Pioneer gas station on the way Home. It’s a good thing there was still a ¼ Tank of fuel in the Truck but with the increases prices it still cost $120.00 to fill up.

The rest of the Week is going to be busy along with lots of Rain with Humidexes above the Century Mark. The alarm is now set for an Hour earlier then today. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  2. Cool street rod. Gosh that's the CHEAP side of filling up MY truck. It's nothing for it to cost almost $200. It definitely slows me down so I get better mileage! LOL

  3. Boy, you two sure are busy bees. I don't think I could keep up with you! How much per gallon are you paying? Such a big difference for me owning my little CRV.
