Another Scorcher.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

As mentioned in last night’s Blog by 9:30 the temperature was just too uncomfortable so we had turned the Air Conditioning on. Luckily it didn’t run the entire night but it could be heard cycling. Strangely we were once again up before 8:00 finishing our breakfast and reading by 9:00 when the inside chores were waiting to be done.
Our Lilies aree really starting to bloom.
When I stepped outside at 10:00 the Humidex was already at 97 F (36 C) and there wasn’t a wisp of a breeze anywhere to be felt. I made certain to get all our neighbour’s outside pants as well as our’s all watered before retreating to the comfort of our RV.

Kathy had been checking our On-Line Accounts so there were a few phone calls that I had to make to get things straightened around.

For our lunch we had Toasted Bacon and Tomato sandwiches with a Yogurt cup for dessert.

Heading back outside to check a few things I found the temperature had increased while there was still no breeze. Going inside after only a short while I checked The Weather Network to see that it was cooler then yesterday with a Humidex of only 102 F (39 C).

It wasn’t until 4:30 when I next went outside to grill our supper on our Weber Q. The temperature had dropped to where it actually felt comfortable. Our meal consisted of Grilled Chicken Breast and Asparagus to go with the Southwestern Salad and Spanish Rice that Kathy had made up. It all tasted delicious and was very filling.

We are supposed to get a day of reprieve from the heat tomorrow before the it returns for a couple more days. We are actually looking forward to seasonal temperatures by the weekend. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
