Another Hot One, Getting The Better Deal and Milestone Party.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

As much as we both like the warm weather, what we have been getting around here lately has been between comfortable to extreme.  We both managed to sleep comfortably with the A.C. pulsing on and off all night. By the time I went out to water the grass and plants the air was stifling even for myself. After the half inch of rain that we had accumulated with yesterday’s storm the humidity just seemed to be hanging in the air.
Our Grandson Matthew.
Being stuck inside meant that we could take care of things that required personal attention. Kathy monitors our finances continually so when an unexplained charge suddenly appears on a charge card we investigate. Calling the credit card company, they indicated who the charge was from and suggested you first try dealing with it. If that failed to resolve the issue to then call them back.

For years we have purchased our Norton Anti-Virus locally and then activate it. What is happening is some companies such as Norton are automatically renewing your protection and charging it to your credit card. After inquiring as to the charge they had automatically renewed a version that was installed on our past computers we no longer own and associated to an E-mail Address we haven’t had in years. They will extend our present program for an additional year at half the price and will reimbursing us the difference. Check your Credit Card Charges because you could be victims of extra charges.

Kathy made use of her inside time by doing further research as to where we’ll be heading this coming fall. As stated before we’ll be heading towards the U.S. Southwest and since we are members of the Escapees we will probably be stopping at a few of those parks along the way.

Myself, Matthew and Kathy.
Shortly before 5:00 this afternoon we headed towards the Verdi Club in Amherstburg. Even though we had only gotten together for Matthew’s birthday party on Friday evening (with all that delicious See-Food) this evening was for a milestone in Matthew’s life. His class was there for their graduation party from Ecole Saint-Jean-Baptiste Elementary School. If you noticed the spelling that is not a Typo. It is a French language school which will help Matthew have a second language which will be helpful in the future especially in the Canadian job market. Matthew tends to be the quiet reserved type but we were proud of him when he and some class mates were recognized for helping others in the class to overcome obstacles. Matthew received the Technical Achievement Award when it comes to working with the computers. Maybe we have a future technician in the family.

Matthew on right.

Kevin and Cameron had left shortly after the meal was over so after the presentations were finished we drove Melissa home. The graduating class would be dancing the night away, at least until 10:30 when the parents would have to lay claim to them.

Tomorrow the temperature will be back to reasonable so we have a few things we want to accomplish. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
