Modified Plans.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

Last night the weather guessers guaranteed us we’d be hit by heavy rains first thing this morning and later this afternoon. I was sitting at the computer when we had a lite shower at 8:00 and by 8:30 all we had was a wet patio, higher humidity and an overcast sky. Expecting more rain any minute we spent more time on the computers before attending to our other chores.
Kathy has already started laying out our southwest trip for this fall on a full sized map of the U.S. After some input of what I thought some of the places she wanted to see this winter might be on next year’s list. Once she is more focused on some of the other locations she might be looking for other things to see and do. She might even ask for suggestions from some of our readers as was suggested in our comments.
For a quick lunch Kathy warmed up the leftover Pepper Steak she made the other day. The way Kathy prepares the food she makes you would never know that it is leftovers as it always tastes so wonderful.
After lunch I headed to the park laundry room to wash our dirty clothes. With the cloudy skies the breeze felt cool but the humidity made it feel sticky. I’d finished washing, drying and folding all the laundry and was back home by 3:30. After getting everything put away I did additional reading online.
Brisket Burger and Greek salad.
For supper I grilled a couple of Brisket Burgers on the Weber Q while Kathy busied herself making a Greek Pasta Salad for a side. Just as I started the Weber the sun suddenly appeared from behind the clouds. By the time the burgers were ready there were no clouds in the entire sky and the sun was suddenly hot. That was another tasty meal that more than filled us up.

As soon as the dishes were washed and put away we were on the way to Amherstburg for our weekly visit with our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa. We always have a good visit with these kids but the sudden change in the weather had them turning on all the fans in the house in order to cool it down. That just gave us more things to joke about. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
