Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

It amazes me how we can go to bed later than normal and wake up early but if we go to bed on time we sleep in. Of course we slept in this morning because we had plans on getting a few things done today. As soon as we were awake this morning we settled down to having breakfast and to watch the Weather Channel. They confirmed that our area of the province would be the warmest part of Canada for the day.

They also reminded us of the fact that today was Remembrance Day. It is a day we say Thank You to all those who served in the different sections of the Allied Military so that we could enjoy the freedom we do today. Unfortunately there were many more who served and paid the ultimate price by giving their lives so we could enjoy ours. Kathy’s Dad fought in WWII and was a prisoner of war.  When he returned home he was totally different than when he left.  He passed away in an automobile accident at the young age of 42 on April 2nd 1962.  He is in our thoughts on this Remembrance Day as he served his country but suffered from PTS for the rest of his life.
I managed to have the laundry totally finished before lunch today while Kathy continued researching the change in the direction we’ll be taking home next April. After lunch we went over to Kathie and Ross’s so that we could visit as well as returning his rotary tool that he’d loaned me to work on the truck.

Instead of heading straight back to the apartment after our visit we headed to the trailer so we could drop off a few more things that I took out of the truck since it will be going in for some service work tomorrow.

Even though the temperature was above the norm for this time of year the wind would cut right through you. Watching the weather forecast on the 6 o’clock News this evening I was surprised to see we had warmer weather here in Tecumseh than people in Houston, Texas.

Tomorrow we’d better not sleep in because we’ve a very busy day ahead of us getting things done before we leave in less than 45 days. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
