Making Something of Nothing.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Even though we did manage to get a decent nights’ sleep we still slept in until nearly 8:00 this morning. The Weather Channel indicated a change in their forecast showing no sign of rain until the middle of next week and that the temperatures would be quite bearable through that time.
Shortly before 9:00 we were on the computers answering E-mails and getting caught up on our blog reading. By mid–morning we were on our way to run a number of errands.
Our first stop was the Drug Store to pick up test strips for Kathy’s diabetic sugar monitor. A quick stop at the dollar store helped me to solve a small problem I was having. Our last stop was at the local Zehr’s grocery store for supplies and things we plan on bringing to the Halloween Party tomorrow night. We did find a few things but we were short on what we wanted for tomorrow.
We stopped at home to drop off our purchases and since it was nearly noon we had soup and a sandwich to tide us over.
Back on the road we stopped at Princess Auto where we picked up a few supplies which included some electrical contact cleaner. We have been having problems with the connection between the truck and the trailer so now that will be rectified.
Our next stop was Walmart where we picked up additional one pound propane cylinders to use on our Big Buddy Heater while we are on our way south in 63 days for the winter. We also took the time to check what they had and were able to finish our purchases there.
Back at home we again had a simple bowl of soup and we finished the last of Kathy’s Greek macaroni salad as the side. Tomorrow we’ll be scrambling to get ready for the party tomorrow night. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
