Chores and More.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

After a somewhat restless night I was still feeling tired when I got up at 8:30 this morning. I still allowed Kathy to sleep in past 9:00 before starting breakfast.
A picture of tonight's full moon.
Watching the Weather Channel we were told of a slight rise in the temperature but that it would also be part of a rain storm coming through the area after lunch. That was enough to convince me to bundle up and get out on the balcony to do some Routing on pieces for our cart that I’m making for the trailer. The clock had not even gotten to 11:00 when the skies began to open up. I still took the time to finish sanding the parts clean before heading inside.

Even though we’ve had requests for some of the recreated food that Kathy made yesterday from leftovers from our early family Thanksgiving dinner for lunch today she warmed up a couple of nice pieces of her Turkey Pot Pie which also helped to take the chill out of me.

My next task was to assemble the frame that I had made and to mount a global map that Kathy wants put up in our office. Once that was finished and I had put away the tools that I no longer needed I began the chore of staining the pieces that will be the next phase of the trailer cart. Due to the extreme odor from the stain I needed to open some windows to air out the apartment. It was a good thing that the rain had stopped.

For supper Kathy served the homemade Turkey noodle soup to help warm the both of us. We finished the dishes just on time for the 6 o’clock News. We also had a chance to do a little reading on the computers before heading out the door shortly after 8:00 to go to the new Belle River Arena.

Every once in a while our grandson Tyler has a late hockey game and tonight was the night. The game started at 9:00 and even though the opposing team was playing dirty and being more aggressive it was Tyler’s team that prevailed. Tonight was a good night because Tyler broke his dry spell and got his goal unassisted. The final score was 6 – 0 for Tyler’s team.
