Slowly Getting Ready.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

Last night I kept on waking up because I felt cold so my night of sleep was not that restful. The reason for that is that even with the night time lows in the mid 50’s Kathy feels warm at night and doesn’t sleep with any covers but she does like to snuggle with them. Why she does that is because they are cooler than my body temperature but where she gets them is not from the foot of the bed but off of me. No matter how hard I try to stay covered when I’m cold it doesn’t work but I still love her anyways.

Having Egos and coffee for breakfast we saw on the Weather Channel that we would be having a cool day of only 70 F (21C) so I suggested that we wait to go work at the trailer until this afternoon. After eating our breakfast we headed to the computers to do our morning reading plus working on some of our other computer chores. For lunch we had the last of the homemade pea soup that helped warm me slightly and is very filling.

Arriving at the Guardian Storage yard Kathy was able to take inventory of what food we had in the pantry so that we’ll know what we need to bring onboard for the short trip starting this weekend. I had planned on changing out all the L.E.D. bulbs that I had installed early last year as the majority of them were three quarters burnt out by the end of the year and not giving the light we needed to properly see at night making it difficult to read or do simple chores. Right off the start I ran into a problem because I thought that I’d already brought the standard bulbs back to the trailer and after looking high and low ended up going back to the apartment to find them in my gizmo box on the fridge. Since there was so much standing water and mud around the trailer and by the time I changed all the bulbs I didn’t even try to reorganize the basement. It will just have to wait until we winterize the trailer this fall and the ground is dry around the trailer.

On the way home we stopped at the Credit Union to pick up some travelling cash for next week when we are away then went next door to Taco Bell where we once again used coupons allowing both of us to have supper for less than ten dollars. The next three days are going to be busy with appointments and visiting all before we leave on the weekend. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
