Catching our Breaths.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

Last night we had hoped for a slower paced day and seemed to have accomplished just that. I needed to get some blood testing done so as soon as I woke up this morning I quietly slipped out the door drove half way across Windsor through construction had the tests done and was back home starting to make breakfast by 8:10. Kathy heard me making noise in the kitchen and came out to tell me that I couldn’t eat until after I had the blood test. Imagine her surprise when she found out that I had already returned. She couldn’t believe it.

After coffee and toast this morning we hit the computers where I spent extra time catching up on the posts that I didn’t have the chance to read yesterday. Kathy started recreating yesterday’s leftovers that turned out to be a tasty meal for lunch.

Kathy had spoken to Kevin and Melissa last night and they agreed that he was doing much better after only one day of recovery from his Gall Bladder surgery that we didn’t have to head out first thing this morning for Amherstburg to help take care of Cameron and Matthew. Kathy did have an appointment with her dentist later this afternoon which worked out great because he is in the town of Amherstburg and this is Wednesday and every Wednesday evening we try to go visit with Kevin and Melissa and the boys when we can.

After Kathy’s dentist appointment we stopped at McDonalds for a Chicken Wrap that we find filling, tasty and fairly healthy. Then we went for a walk around the Walmart store for a little exercise. As usual we always have a pleasant visit with the kids except it was hard for Kevin not to be laughing this soon after his surgery.

Don’t know how we are going to sleep tonight because we have to set the dreaded alarm. Our appointment is for 8:00 in the morning at the tire dealer. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

Office Jokes, Quotes, and Anecdotes

Sally (on the phone with husband Ted): Ted, how is your job going?

Ted: You know me Sal, Same ol', same ol'.

Sally: Any chance "same ol'" can be changed into "meteoric rise?"

Ted: I suppose, if the right people quit or go missing.
