I was back and forth between my Recliner and Bed again last night, but at least this time I did sleep. It seems that the more time spent in Bed, seems to give me a more restful night which means my CPAP Machine is delivering a higher amount of Oxygenated Blood back to my body, when I am laying down.
That is something most people do not understand. When you sleep the way nature intended, your breathing helps put Oxygen back into your Blood. When you have Sleep Apnea, you continually stop breathing, meaning less enriched Blood. The longer that happens, the greater the risk of you having a Heart Attack or Stroke.
Another thing that most do not realize, is Sleep Apnea is Hereditary. Though it was not known when I was growing up, my Father snored so badly that when cousins stayed over for the weekends, they went home sleep deprived, and we slept on the Second Floor while he slept on the First.
My late Friend and Best Man snored so loud, that he was shocked when everyone from a Tent Camping trip applauded him the next morning when he got up. In the next breathe, they told him that he could not spend another night at camp, because nobody else had slept. His Sleep Apnea, lead to Heart Failure. Not everyone who snores has Sleep Apnea, but if you are feeling worn out, see a Health Care Provider.
I mentioned yesterday that it was an Extra Coffee Day. We learned that by drinking Coffee it acts as an Appetite Suppressant. What I should have said was that it was a Two Cup Day. Considering that many years ago, I drank approximately 320 Ounces of Coffee per day. If I could not sleep, I would have another Coffee and slept like a rock. Now, I avoid having more than Two Cups a day.
After a lite breakfast, we were out the door by 1:30. The Northwest Wind made the 16 F (-9 C) feel even colder. The only blessing was the clear blue Sunny skies. It made everything else feel better.
After collecting our Mail at Guardian Storage, we headed over to Harvey’s to have a late lunch. Kathy had a Chicken Wrap while I had a Cheeseburger.
The blue skies encouraged us to stay out a little longer, so we stopped at the Dollarama closest to our home. There were a number of food stocks that we had not gotten earlier this week, so this was a good excuse to leave those four walls behind for a while.
It was close to 8:00 when we had Macaroni and Cheese for supper, for the second night in a row. We later watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files”.
Not sure what tomorrow holds for us.

It’s about time.
Krackers
I’ve been thinking about taking up meditation.
I figure it’s better than sitting around doing nothing.
