Though there was some back and forth between my Recliner and Bed, I did manage to get a good sleep. The only reason for waking each of those times was the Pain building in my Shoulders. With that bit of lost sleep, when the Sun began to rise this morning, I was able to convince myself to just a few more minutes. It was when my Cell Phone started ringing in the Livingroom that I knew it was time to get up. Of course, Unknown Name, Unknown Number. We do not answer those calls. Too many Scammers.
We settled for our Breakfast Snack Bars and a quick look at our Computers, before heading out the door. There was a bit of a dusting that had to be cleared from the Car, before I picked Kathy up a the rear entrance.
Driving down Riverside Drive, the Flurries continued to the point that the Detroit skyline looked more like a shadow across the River.
When we arrived at the McDougall Medical Center, we were pleasantly surprised that a car was leaving, just on time for us to park. Inside, my new Computer Glasses were waiting for me to pick up. The Receptionist stuck a reading card in front of me to see if they worked and the upper part of the lens was void of any magnification. That is what I wanted, so if I looked across the room while wearing the Glasses, the room would not start spinning. They worked great, for the moment.
With time before our next appointment, we took our time heading back across the city. The Flurries would continue long after dark today.
We stopped at
Wendy’s
to have lunch. When I mentioned to Paula that we did not have any
more Coupons,
she pulled a sheet of them from under the counter. It is nice to be
regulars. As we ate, the
Flurries
were so intense at times, we could not see the traffic outside the
building.
Things cleared as we drove to Kathy’s Rheumatologist’s Office in the town of Tecumseh. We always prefer to be early for our appointments, but when we tried the door, it was locked. A small sign next to the door indicated the staff was on lunch until the time of Kathy’s appointment. When the Doctor reviewed Kathy’s Pain Levels, he made an adjustment to her once a week dosage.
We had to make another stop at the Health First Pharmacy to pick up the extra Medication that Kathy will need for the next few weeks.
Back at the Apartment, as soon as I turned on my Computer, I tried my new Glasses. The only way I can read on my Computer, is to tip my head back so far, I am focused on the Ceiling Light on the other side of the room. They are made as Reading Glasses, not Computer Glasses.
The Weather Guesser on the “6 o’clock Local News” said the Groundhogs may not have seen their shadows, but we can expect to see more Seasonal Weather for the next 46 Days. However, we could also see a few of them above the Freezing Mark soon.
After sharing a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza for a late supper, we watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files”.
I have calls to make tomorrow.
