They say that when you stop something, it’s always hard to start again. Somehow I forgot to take my bedtime Medications for only Two Nights, but taking it last night had no effect at all. I might have even worn a path between the Bed and my Recliner all in an effort to sleep. I’ve also not been taking anything for the Shoulder Pain that seems to be increasing.
Kathy found me napping in my Recliner, waiting for my Computer to fire up. I had only been up for Ten Minutes since I left the Bedroom.
Looking out the Balcony Door, everything was wet with Puddles the size of Ponds covering the parking lot and side streets alike. Ten Minutes later we were having our Yogurt Cups and Bananas for breakfast.
The reason we went out yesterday instead of today was because of the forecasted Rain, that was supposed to last all day. Twenty-Four Years ago today, Kathy did me the honour of becoming my Wife. We both had Three adult children with our former spouses.
Since Kathy’s first marriage had been in September, I suggested she be a June Bride like many couples had done upon the completion of High School in our earlier years. There were plenty of Family and Friends there to help bring in this union. Sadly, many are no longer with us today. We are looking forward to our Twenty-Fifth Anniversary next year and more to follow.
Keeping in the celebratory mood, we enjoyed Nacho Chips and Cheese for lunch. That would turn out to be a little too lite a meal and we had to later add an Apple to our intake.
It was nearly 6:00 when we sat down to enjoy our Veggie Wraps for supper. Though the Rain stopped around noon, with the 102 F (39 C) Humidex it was better that we stayed inside.
Later we watched “Criminal Minds” and the “11 o’clock Local News”. The forecast for the next few days is the same as it was today. I think we might go out for a bit and walk between the drops.

Words of Inspiration
I love to win, but I love to lose almost as much.
I love the thrill of victory, and I also love the challenge of defeat.
