Somehow
I believe that when we know that we have set an Alarm to wake
us up, our Subconsciousness keeps us on alert most of
the night, and robs us of much needed sleep. Knowing that I didn’t
set the Alarm for the last Three Days,
allowed me to get a well rested night’s sleep each time.
Yesterday’s Storms continued through the night. When I checked “The Weather Network” this morning, it showed we could expect more of the same this afternoon so we had to get moving if we didn’t want to get too wet.
We had luckily worn our Jackets to protect us from possible Rain, but by the time we walked to the Car, were wondering if we should have worn Coats instead. The temperature at the time was only 63 F (17 C) with Wind Gusts up to Thirty MPH.
When I saw the doctor on Monday, he had immediately FAXed a Prescription to the Pharmacy we use. For a number of reasons combined I waited to get them until today. Arriving at Health First Pharmacy the Pharmacist cautioned me to only take these before going to bed, as they may cause Drowsiness. (One pill, Two problems) This also happens to be a medication that takes a Month to take full effect in my system.
Heading back towards home we stopped at Mary Brown’s to have a very early lunch. Even though it’s a Canadian Brand, it rivals the Internationally Known Labels. At this time of year, if your want good food, look for the line of Students from the nearby High Schools leading out the door.
Heading back to the Car we noticed evidence of the forecasted precipitation, already coating the windows.
A final stop at Shoppers Drug Mart had us taking advantage of their Thursday’s Senior Discount Day. Later sitting down with my Calculator, I found that we had saved over Eighty Dollars.
Since the Drizzle had again started, I dropped Kathy at the front entrance to our building. Even while using my Cane, I managed to run between most of the drops.
I had lots of Blog Reading to catch up on after updating our Medication Spreadsheet. It also gave me a chance to diagnose a problem that I was having with my Computer.
It was past 7:00 when we shared Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Spinach Pizza with Mushrooms and Extra Mozzarella Cheese. Amazing how filling that can be.
We later watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files” before the “11 o’clock Local News” came on. Today’s high only reached 72 F (22 C) with heavier Rain when we got home. We had earlier listened to a Severe Storm reflecting across the Detroit River.
Having taken that New Medication before I started writing this Blog, is causing problems to keep my eyes open.
