Getting Lightheaded.

After publishing the Blog last night, I had to get myself ready to bed down. On yesterday’s visit to our Family Doctor, he suggested a self-help way of breaking down Ear Wax that has been plaguing me since my last Retirement. The plan was to put Three to Four Drops of Baby Oil in the ear overnight, so it would soften the hardening residue. No matter what I did, there was no way the Cap would come off the bottle. It was supposed to be Child Proof but when it started cutting into my hand, I called it a few names, before going to bed without the treatment.

When we were having breakfast this morning, I explained to Kathy what happen and brought the bottle out. Grasping it exactly like I had last night, with very little effort the Cap easily opened. I’ll try the treatment again tonight.

We enjoyed a Ready-Made Salad for our late lunch, before heading out. Though I had told Kathy to wait inside, she followed me to the Car. There was enough of a Northerly Wind to actually cool things down for her.

With the Road Construction Season in full swing, there were less detours involved by simply driving right through the middle of it all.

We arrived at Fantastic Sam’s only Fifteen Minutes early, but were surprised to see Julia already working. Since they are short of Hair Stylists, she has been putting in extra hours and had started at 1:00 this afternoon. That meant she was able to start chopping away at the excessive hair growth we were both experiencing. Just as she was finishing up with us, there were a few Walk-Ins to fill the gap until her next appointment. We both feel so much cooler with less Hair.

After reversing our travels to head for home we decided on grabbing a quick bite out for supper. Since it was Whopper Wednesday, we stopped at Burger King to take advantage of their bargain. As we were eating, the sky got dark and soon it was Raining in earnest. Even though we took our time eating, we still needed to make a dash to the Car to avoid getting too wet.

There was no running the Wipers intermittently, it was just too intense, so I dropped Kathy off at the Front Entrance to our building before going to park the Car. By the time I headed in myself, I was only slightly more dampened that I had been earlier.

Inside I was getting caught upon today’s Blog Reading and came across what might be the Travel With the Old Fat Man (Barney) last Blog. After recent Medical Issues, he believes that after Twenty Years it’s time to close the books on his Blog. I was hoping to meet a few more Blog Authors the next time we head south, but with the unrest between the Countries, we are not sure when that will happen.

We later watched “Mayday”, “Criminal Minds” and the “11 o’clock Local News”. Looks like we’ll be going from Hot to Wet for the next Week.
