Kathy has been enjoying sleeping so well the last few nights, that it took over an Hour to realize that I was in the other room this morning. I’d already gotten things mostly ready for breakfast, so when she emerged from the bedroom, it was only minutes later that we were eating.
With a lite breakfast, I made Grilled Cheese and Olive Sandwiches for lunch with Bing Cherries for dessert.
After the Dishes were cleaned up, we got busy with our other chore. If you were following this week, we had transplanted houseplants into larger containers, of which one would not fit in the Stand. Setting up the Blue Tarp on our Balcony we set about removing the Christmas Cactus from the Flowerpot it was into one that would fit the Stand. It turned out to be slightly tighter fit, and though we were being careful, many of the longer branches, broke off their ends. We probably felt worse than the plant did.
We then had to split our Snake Plant, but as we prepped the new Flowerpots, we saw that we would not have enough Potting Soil.
We headed to the nearest Dollarama and within minutes we had more than enough Potting Soil and a few more Trinkets to attach to them.
It was nearly 5:00 when we loaded the Car, and though I had Planned to cook, we were next door to the Mary Browns Chicken outlet. I suddenly had a craving for Grilled Chicken, it worked out perfectly. Their fries are Potato Wedges, that are perfectly seasoned and still hot Twenty Minutes after you start eating.
We had to use our Folding Two Wheel Shopping Cart to get things up to the Apartment. Luckily the Humidex only felt like 91 F (33 C) so we had the Balcony Door open while we worked, just keeping bugs out with the Screen. It was nearly 7:00 when we had everything but ourselves cleaned up. Now we just have to wait another Five Years to do it again.
We watched an interesting documentary about Alzheimer this evening. Researchers are finding ways to sometimes reverse the effect.
Another busy week starting tomorrow.

Your wife carries pepper spray at home.
I'm sure the plants in the new pots look good and you enjoy them. Will your kids take them when you travel?
