Our Location today is Apopka,
Florida.
I was up and reading at the computer by 7:00 this morning because for the first time in nearly a
week I slept soundly. Kathy on the other hand had problems with her CPAP
machine so by the time she straightened out the issue she slept until shortly
after 8:00. Not feeling like eating
cereal for breakfast I decided to make French Toast and got quite a surprise
when breaking open the eggs one had an extra large yolk while the other one had
two yolks.
After eating it was back to the computers for more research.
Since we went to Camping World on Friday and could not find what we wanted for
the trailer I was looking for other dealers that sell accessories. After having
searched the Orlando district
unsuccessfully we looked elsewhere. When we start heading back home at the end
of April we’ll be heading past a number of RV Dealers that might just have what
we are looking for.
It also intrigued me to find that some of the suggestions I had passed on to Keystone RV Manufacturing 3 years ago about the same trailer we now own have been added. One was having a second door to exit the trailer in case of an emergency. The second was to have the all in one main bathroom. If those two items had been available when we had bought our trailer it would have been a Ten.

Tomato Sandwich and Fruit for lunch. |
After lunch there were a few more simple modifications and repairs that
we wanted to make to the trailer but needed to pick up a few supplies. Back at
Home Depot we found almost everything we needed. Three stops later and we were
at Harbor Freight where we finally found the last of what we needed.
Three Wheeled, four passenger car in the park. |
Back at the trailer I quickly installed a Velcro strap
through the brackets that support the two televisions that I had installed. We are
hoping this stops the problem of the road vibration actually shaking the faces
off the televisions.
60 Mpg. Classified as a Motorcycle. |
The original television in the living room will not work on
cable but will on the antenna so I added a booster in its cable. That mode didn’t
seem to have any effect and since I have complained about this problem before I’ll
be doing it again when we get back home.
Totally Made in China. |
The last thing I did was to add cup hooks above our kitchen
cabinets to hold a small elastic cargo net. Most of us have vent pillows to
keep the cold air out in the winter but many people including ourselves use
them to keep hot air out in the summer when we run the Air Conditioner. Last summer
when we went away with our friends Bill and Vera there was no place to store
them in the trailer so they were left behind and the AC struggled to cool the trailer
in the high heat we were exposed to. Now we can store them above the cabinets
and never leave them behind again.
Of course I had to stand on the counter to work on this and
the temp outside was 82F (28C) so it was plenty hot by the ceiling. The windows
were open but with the high humidity it didn’t matter it still felt hot
Kathy later cooked up a wonderful supper of pacific salmon, mashed
potatoes and sweet peas. Tomorrow’s another day! Thanks for following along and
feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

ReplyDeleteGood looking breakfast and dinner. Hope your modifications take care of the TV problems. I think that I will have to give those vent pillows a try didn't think about using them in the summer. Hadn't seen one of those cars before, sure some great MPG. Have a Great Wednesday!
