Talking To Our Kids, Cooler Temperatures, More Storage Unit Organizing and Quiet Evening.

Even though I didn’t really feel tired when I went to bed last night i managed to sleep undisturbed until I woke just before 8:00 this morning. I had barely started getting things ready for breakfast when Kathy joined me.
Early this morning.
Looking out the Balcony Door the day didn’t look too promising but when I looked at The Weather Network on the Computer it showed there was still hope. The one thing that still would not change was the temperature would barely make it to the Mid-Forties. Ironically we had some warmer days back in February then these roller coaster temps that we’ll be facing for the next couple of weeks.

We did our usual reading and chores before Kathy needed a Snap before lunch. She seemed to have the chills but considering that she’d just had the Balcony Door open to get Fresh Air into the Apartment moments before.
Just before lunch.
While she had her Snap I was busy in the other room when our daughter Karen called just wanting to know how we are doing and filling us in on her family status. It’s nice hearing those familiar voices once again. Since most are working from home these days we don’t get the chance to talk as much as before the start of Social Distancing.
It was Chicken Noodle Soup once again for lunch. The old tried and true healer of whatever ails you. We also had an Orange, a Mini Boston Cream Donut and Yogurt Cup for dessert.

We sat at the Computers just long enough to drink our Tea before getting ready to leave. We planned on taking the Car to the Storage Unit and since the rear seat folded down we thought we’d be able to haul the Plastic Cabinet in there. Notice I used that word Planned. When we loaded the 6 Foot tall Cabinet in the Car it was a Foot too long. After securing it in the Truck we were soon on our way.
Back at our Storage Unit.
We spent the next Four and a Half Hours at our Climate Controlled Storage Unit rearranging it’s contents. With it better organized there was actually space. The reason it is still quite full is because we had to totally empty our Trailer so that it could once again be returned to the Factory so all that was added to our Unit. We were both tired when we left Guardian Storage today.
We did find a few more things to bring back to the Apartment. Kathy made Pulled Pork Sandwiches for supper with some Grapes and the last of the Boston Cream Mini Donuts for dessert.
After Supper.
We watched the 6 o’clock Local News before watching a number of Forensic Files episodes. Our son Ken called to make certain we are doing okay and wanting us to stay safe.

We have some calls to make tomorrow but with Mid Fifty Temperatures we hope to accomplish more at the Storage Yard. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  3. I was wondering if your trailer is still going in on schedule for it's repairs?

  4. Oh that's right ... I forgot about your trailer needing repairs. What a pain to have to unload everything again. At least you have a nice place to stay.
