Setting The Record Straight.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Even though Kathy had a rough night sleeping because her mind wouldn’t shut down she still got up minutes after I did this morning. We settled for a Lite Breakfast with only an Orange Juice Box as a drink. A quick glance at the local weather showed we were due for Showers this afternoon so we were out the door by 9:00.
Our destination was Guardian Storage so we could continue working on our Storage Unit. Notice the way I said that. After we moved into the Apartment we worked at emptying the Trailer of all personal belongings so it could be returned to the Factory for a warranty issue that has been fixed Twice already. Either the Third Time is a charm or the Manufacturer is going to be buying our trailer. We had to put everything someplace so we put in a Storage Unit.
When we went Fulltime rather then getting rid of all our belongings that would not fit in the Trailer we put them in a Climate Controlled Storage Unit because long term temperature changes would have ruined most material items. When we moved into this Apartment we furnished from our Climate Controlled Storage Unit with plans to totally empty it out by either Selling, Donating or Giving it away.
Then came the Coronavirus. People are loosing their jobs and all the Donation Centers are closed. With Social Distancing in place we can’t even give it way.
Renting Two Storage Units was getting too costly so by rearranging the Climate Controlled Storage Unit we were able to bring things from the Storage Unit (Trailer Stuff) in. Lets just say even though it is Neat and Safe it is now quite full. Hopefully the Social Distancing will end soon so we can follow our dream, get the Trailer fixed properly and really downsize our Storage Unit.
After bringing the last of what was to be stored into the Climate Controlled Storage Unit the very last thing we took from our Storage Unit was our Tandem Bicycle which we brought to the Apartment. When the Weather cooperates we’ll be taking advantage of the Trails around Windsor. It’s a good thing we have a large Elevator in our Building because it would be a problem bringing it up to the Eighth Floor by the stairs.
We decided to have an early lunch so we worked together modifying a Caesars Salad by adding chopped up Bacon, more Onions and shredded Mozzarella Cheese. Of course Kathy also made a dessert plate for each of us consisting of a Date Square, Orange and Apple Sauce Cup. It was all delicious and filling as well.

While we were eating our son Ken called wondering why Kathy wasn’t on Facetime today. Since we didn’t look at our E-mails this morning before heading to the Storage Yard we didn’t know it was happening. Karen already set up a Family Facetime for this coming Tuesday.
We spent most of the afternoon catching up on our reading on the Computers before Kathy needed a Snap.
For supper we again worked together. Kathy was warming the Ham while making the Macaroni and Cheese. I cored an Apple that we shared along with Grapes and Cookies.

We watched the 6 o’clock Local News before watching a Hallmark Movie. Think we’ll be getting to bed early tonight. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Hope you are right and the third time is the charm and you get the 5th wheel problems taken care of. I thought emptying our 5th wheel once when we bought the motorhome was one time to many. Cannot imagine doing it a second time and then third time. Both you and Kathy take care and stay healthy.

  3. I didn't realize you had two storage units. That will be a nice relief only having one. Good luck with the 5th wheel repairs, my fingers are crossed that 3x is a charm too.
Looks like a nice weather day, soon you can use that bike!

  8. We never realize how much stuff we have until we need to move it, right? Hopefully you get your trailer issues resolved. They must now have quite a backlog to work through. Going for bike rides sounds good if they let us.
