Outside Cleanup, Book Exchange, Keeping Cool and Grilling Supper.

Our Location today is at Wildwood Golf and RV Park, McGregor, Ontario.

With all the Fresh Air we had last night neither of us had any problem sleeping. The entire night we both felt warm enough to sleep on top of the covers but just as we were about to get out of bed the temperature dropped to a comfortable 63 F (17 C).

We went through our normal routines of having breakfast, having our Coffee/Tea at the Computers then doing our inside chores. We could see plenty of Golfers out once again making certain the Course was getting plenty of usage.
Wanting to get some outside chores done today we had Toasted Bacon Tomato and Cheese Sandwiches for our early lunch.
While I was busy mowing our grass Kathy was pulling the newly rooted Maple Seeds from our Gardens. It is amazing that the Keys simply lay flat on the surface of the Mulch or Decorative Stone and the next time you look a new Sprout is trying to take its place in this world.
Once everything was trimmed and cleaned off I suggested that we go to the Park’s Exchange Library. Kathy is an avid Bookworm so these types of Libraries are great at keeping the cost of her hobby down. It took nearly an Hour to find the type of book she reads and some that she hasn’t read yet.

Back Home we sat outside under the Gazebo enjoying the 24 to 32 MPH Winds that were helping to make the 90+ temperatures feel a bit more tolerable.
When it came time for supper I was grilling a couple of Salmon Fillets on the Weber Q while Kathy pan fried the hand cut Potatoes that I had chopped along with Microwaving our last Two Ears of Corn. Once you’ve had Corn on the Cob like this you will never eat it any other way. Everything tasted wonderful and was more then enough to satisfy our appetites.
Once the dishes were all cleaned and put away I went back out to wash our Patio. Since this is breeding season the Birds are making quite a mess and it has to be hosed off.

It felt good to have an easy day but tomorrow we’ll be driving to Windsor Twice. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. What's so special about your corn? We eat microwave corn on the cob frequently and enjoy it. We are currently out in the outback Queensland, but heading to a coastal town or rather small city tomorrow for the first time near a beach in 3 months. So looking forward to an ocean view.

  7. We eventually took our maple tree out as it was just too much work to keep all the sports under control. Our Mountain Ash is the perfect replacement.
